GThis deck falls squarely into the tempo realm, making it easy to play and reasonably effective in the current meta. However, it has a few tools in it that don't normally pop up. It weighs heavily on the discard mechanic, and so it needs to either draw much faster to catch up to the amount it discards, or it needs to play cards faster so you aren't actually discarding cards you like. For that reason, I have placed two Summoning Portals in the deck. These allow me to pump out cards in some games as well as being a cheap craft and a fun mechanic. I also lean hard on Malchezaar's Imp for cycling and have inundated the deck with other one-drops to make sure I can wait to play the imp until I can either keep it alive or combo it. I also run both decent cards I am willing to discard anyway, and more threats than you could possibly need. That way, the constant discarding does not remove your win conditions as often. I intentionally made this deck without epics and for epics, I just use the necessary two-of of Doomguard. This meant that I could not use any of the legendaries people commonly throw in every tempo deck, and every warlock deck, but I have had decent success anyway. The high rate of cycle you get off discards and Malchezaar's Imp lets you search for threats and burn faster. Plus you can end games with plays like Malchezaar's Imp into doomguard into soulfire on turn seven. The level of burst this deck has, along with the quick board development allow this deck to compete with other tempo decks, and still have the resources to kill a highlander priest (another bonus is that against big priest and big druid you have the wasp, which basically insta-wins matchups).

One thing I will say for this deck is that while it has a tempo strategy, it far from plays itself. You have to actually calculate risks, and plan out multiple strategies. Winning requires flexibility, and willingness to let go of big scary cards when you don't have time to play them.

Good luck.
