Once Dragon Soul is equipped, play Radiant Elemental with the cheap spells in hand to summon dragons. Lyra the Sunshard is an natural combo setup for Dragon Soul.

Add in Elemental synergies to generate more Radiant Elementals or even more Lyra the Sunshards and you can keep making more and more dragons with discounted spells.

Rummaging Kobold is a way to regain your weapon if it is ever destroyed.
