INTRO and WHY?!?!

Hello everyone!

So I made this deck for a friend of mine who just started the game. He opened Scourgelord Garrosh as his KFT first mission and I made myself a challenge to make a good deck he could play right away. Figured out the deck is pretty strong and i'm having more fun playing it than all the meta decks (boring priest and druid decks). Currently climbing the ladder with it just to see how far i can reach.

YOU WILL NOT BE SPARED THE WRATH OF HELLSCREAM

The deck is a tempo deck, which mean you HAVE to play strongest play each turn. Even though there is a lot of combo and card interaction, you have to forget about it at one point and just play on curve. KEEP BOARD CONTROL AT ALL COST. The deck relies on it for card draw, protection and damage.

MULLIGAN

Because the Mulligan is, in my opinion, the most important part of the game especially for tempo decks, here's a detailed guide for the card you must keep and discard.

AGAINST FAST DECK (Hunter, Warrior, Paladin, Mage, Rogue, Shaman)

Must Cards

Animated Berserker - ALWAYS keep this card for obvious reason. Only 1 drop minion in the deck, strong 1/3 body and good combo trigger for later turn if it stay on board.

Blood To Ichor - 1 mana deal 1 damage and most of time summon 2/2 minion. Insane Value in early game.

Armorsmith - As it's the only 2 drop minion, you really want to keep it too. 1/4 body makes it good for trading and self damage.

Ravaging Ghoul - You want to keep this against Rogue, Hunter, Shaman and Warrior no matter what. Its a strong 3 drop that annihilate 1 hp minion reliant class. Keep against Paladin if you have at least one card of the above.

Situational

Frothing Berserker - MVP of the deck. You can get amazing value and damage out of it, but you ABSOLUTELY NEED minions on board to make it good. If you dont have any cards of the above and no coin, drop it and dig for something else. It will still be good mid to end game.

Val'kyr Soulclaimer - Another amazing card in the deck, but it also need a good 1 and 2 drop. If you have in hand Animated Berserker and Armorsmith, this card will win you the game. Look for 1-2 drop first, or keep it if you have coin.

Blood Razor - In rare occasion you can keep the weapon. 4 mana is a bit greedy to keep but if you already have strong curve and the coin. It is a very good 4th turn play no matter the state of the board.

Why no Acolyte of Pain or Battle Rage ?

Those are not tempo plays for the early game, but it becomes tempo when you already have a board and ways to damage your minions. Those are good cards to draw from turn 4-8 but won't be able to maintain pressure against aggressive decks.

AGAINST SLOW DECKS (Druid, Warlock(most of the time control in my region), Priest)

Must Cards

Animated Berserker - Again, ALWAYS keep this card for obvious reason. It is not scary enough for them to use removals, but they will soon regret they didn't.

Blood To Ichor - Great way to damage your own minion and get amazing value out of it.

Armorsmith - Again, body on board for self damage.

Acolyte of Pain - Unlike playing against fast deck, this is a good keep. You'll almost always have a way to trigger it and get 2 to 3 cards out of it.
