Mulligan Guide: Deathbringer Saurfang is a fun fight! Your primary concern is to kill his Blood Beasts that he plays, because they will continue to heal him as long as they are on the board. You don't need to be in a real hurry in this fight and it's not critical which cards you start with in your opening hand.
You'll want to keep the board clear of all the minions Deathbringer Saurfang plays and destroy his weapons when you get a chance. The only thing that will damage him are your weapons, so don't be shy about trading your minions out, because they'll never go for face. The only minions of his that can be challenging are the Aberrant Berserker and the Bloodhoof Brave due to their Health. It's best to save your Shadow Strikes for them, if possible.
It's always frustrating when he hides a Blood Beast behind a Saronite Chain Gang, but you'll just need to clear them out and kill the Blood Beast as soon as possible. There were some instances that I would ignore a Beast, only because my Weapon damage outweighed any life he would gain back on his next turn.
You'll find that he's not the smartest cookie, because he will often put his Enrage minions or Acolyte of Pain on the board AFTER he plays a Whirlwind effect, therefore missing out on the benefit they would receive. If you are patient and take out his Blood Beast you will find this isn't a very difficult encounter.
This deck is already pretty inexpensive, but the Weapons are an absolute neccessity. If you need to replace anything else I would just toss another couple of cheap Taunts into the deck. If you'd like to see another way to tackle this encounter, just check out the decks below.
