I know, this comes a little late, with The Great Stone of Challenge going to end soon :P

Fact is, after getting my pack the first day, didn't pay much attention to the brawl... until I got the "Everybody! Get in here!" daily quest. With this deck went 5-1, so thought it might be worth to present it here.

Deck ideas, in semi-random order:

  • Since hunter's secrets cost 2 and are allowed, why not use them? There's good old synergy with Eaglehorn Bow (yes, the bow is fine even without them, but if the durability gets increased, even better). And Cloaked Huntress has an odd attack value, so it fits perfectly. BTW, tried with 2 huntresses but IMHO 1 is enough. As to which secrets to include, I tried different combinations and felt it's not super-critical. Feel free to change them with others if you prefer.
  • I liked the deathrattle package in Dog's hunter, so added a sort of that here. Can't have Highmane or Devilsaur Egg, but Kindly Grandmother, Terrorscale Stalker and Infested Wolf still allow for some swingy plays
  • Flappy bird is well-known, I'll avoid stating the obvious
  • Couple taunts are kinda needed, but we miss our dear Houndmaster, and also Defender of Argus from Dog's deck can't be used. Still plenty of options but I preferred Stonehill Defender instead of Tar Creeper or others because you can discover great stuff, including MVP Lich King ;)
  • A good deal of 1-drops fits nicely with 3-atk Tol'vir Warden, which mitigates card draw issues and thins the deck, that's hardly news
  • And for mid-late game, IMHO Elise the Trailblazer is much better than the Prince Malchezaar I've often seen in this brawl. 2x Bonemare and Cobalt Scalebane may be pretty good, too.

How to play: not much differently from your average hunter, maybe a little less focused on early aggression and more on tempo/value, although that depends on the match-ups, too. Mulligan for your 1-drops, but don't play Timber Wolf on curve, think of it as a spell on a stick, so better used if you have several beasts on board already.

Try to think ahead, and play a card because it's the best on that turn, not just because you can. Choose your secret plays with care, and try to get the most from Razormaws, Terrorscales and Bonemares.

That's all! Thanks for the patience in reading this wall of text, and GL+HF ;)
