Hey Guys, I made this challenge once and now I'm doing it again, and in less then 1 day, with a VERY cheap deck i did reach rank 3, I'm gonna try legend next days and i update this.
Probably you won't bielive me but i made it in stream
Just check https://www.twitch.tv/sonecarox I played days 20 and 21 and 23 september
Finally i got legend after 3 days ALL IN Stream, so you can check all games if you want to learn how to play this deck, i did 2 changed last days to counter priests with 2x Dragon
Thanks great deck stuck at 15 currently but at least i feel I have a chance to beat anyone now!
Edit... just hit rank 10! In my second month playing the game tysm
71% Winrate over 28 Games. Evo Shaman was a nightmare, besides that only had trouble with expensive Jade decks.
How did you manage card draw? Sitting at 50 ish % winrate and most games I lose I end up having no cards in my hand and being unable to do a finisher
I modified the deck enough to create what I consider a new deck http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/953108-free-to-play-rank-23-to-rank-10-in-2-days-midrange. I had a much better winrate with it and got to rank 10 in 2 days :)
Essentially I could not get final blows with this deck (Think mage always freezing minions, or priests/rogues killing minions before you can attack), so the 2x Tundra Rhino's really help. Also, it's very hard to kill lots of minions being placed early on by enemies, especially evolve shaman, unless you got Alleycats right off the first turn. So Explosive Trap is really helpful. Also Gollaka Crawler is too situational (either patches the pirate is played by rogue, paladin, or warrior, or the Crawler is a standard 2/3. I found other cards more useful for the same cost ex. 1x Kindly Grandmother, or 1x Venomous Trap, or 1x Direwolf Alpha to buff your low cost minions).
That's pretty good, I didn't think about trying Explosive Trap, I thought it might be too slow. I guess Grievous Bite can serve a similar purpose.
I got to Rank 5 last month with Sonecaroxx's deck slightly modified (-1 Golakka Crawler +1 Dire Wolf Alpha, -1 Bearshark for +1 Tundra Rhino). This month though it's been a lot harder, but perhaps it also being earlier in the season has an impact. I tried a few variations, putting in more 1 drops, removing a Cobalt, but eventually I grinded up to Rank 5 with nearly the same deck but with 2x Golakka Crawler. Having consistent draws in the mid/late game with 2x Bonemare and 2x Cobalt Scalebane really helps, though the problem is that sometimes they're just too slow. Early board control is difficult sometimes against rogue and shaman which makes you reliant on the correct draws, and drawing those cards early is just a dead card in your hand.
Not good for me at all. 4 games 3 losses, not even competitive, and not against good decks.
Can i exchange one of the Gollaka Crawlers for King Krush to use as a finisher? I generally don't see pirates in ladder for some reason so i'm not sure if this change makes sense
You're losing a strong early game card for a card that will sit useless in your hand for probably the whole game. King Krush is just not a good card.
Nice deck, changed -1 Bonemare for +1 The Lich King
Working pretty well! I started a new account recently to see how hard it was for new players to start, and I just achieved rank 5 in approx 100 games with is excellent. I replaced one drake one savannah and one deadly shot by one firefly one tracking and one dire wolf for a safer early. Bonemare is just too op the objective vs aggro is to take the bard and to play it T7 and you win. If you play it well you can reach legend with it as OP did!
Not sure how you did that with that trash deck. Maybe in US in EI this deck getting rekt every game I played that from rank 15 and stays at rank 15 after 2 days. Shit deck GTFO
I dont wanna sound like a fanboi, but started playing heartstone 2 days ago and juts beat the litchking. Started playing ranked got to like 22, and then decided to make my first deck. Built this deck, and im currently on a 7 game winstreak. Its the easiest deck to climb with i swear, thx fam
EDIT: rank 15 now, still havent lost lol, sounds fake but i aint lyin
lol rank 15...
He started 2 days ago.... You were probably still on Illidan after two days
Hello guys!
I tried this deck as well and expect meeting some ridiculous keleseth crazy opening hands I had pretty good time! (such a retarded deck FeelsBadMan )
I think you can achieve some decent results if you are missing some of the cards and you are f2p!
There are two matchups in this video - the first one is versus control lock and the second one is against shaman :)
I hope you can enjoy the video and see you ! :)
Deck didn't perform exceptionally well. Was at rank 17 and only went 7-8. Consistently lost against Priest and usually lost to other hunter decks running Rhino. Definitely needs to be tweaked a bit for me.
I think the problem of the deck is more Shaman. I beat multiple Priest with this deck. Against hunter it’s a coin flip and just RNG most of the time. Against Shaman though you need a perfect draw all game long and he needs a bad draw. At least that's experience. So, how far you can get with it might depend on how many Shamans you’re facing, how long your win streaks go and how much you grind to increase your chances of getting good streaks. :)
This deck is overhyped. Tested it and went 5-5. And yes, I am good and know how to play :)
is a good deck for reach 20, just that.
It's a matter of timing, honestly.
One time of the day I run into Devolve Shamans and Freeze Mages, other - into Handlocks and other Hunters. One time it's 0-3, other it's 3-0. Just got to catch the right hours. Where you'll win more than lose, since there are less unfavored matchups on ladder that run over you with massive AoEs.
