> After the nerfs, I changed 1 innervate for Malfurion the pestilent. The other one for the time being I transitioned into a second Naturalize, but I need to search for potential better cards. Let me know in the comments if you have suggestions! <
Hi everyone, I'm Justice - A frequent deckbuilder that likes to explore underused cards or archetypes. For the past few days I have been finetuning Hadronox Druid, and with the current build I am doing great on ladder!
I would gladly create a full guide, but such takes time. If this deck goes unnoticed that's a waste of time, so please let me know preferably by commenting your thoughts, a +1 or a personal message in my inbox.
For now, I will quickly say something about the deck and its card choices to not leave you empty handed and wondering.
Intro
What I liked about Hadronox and what made me create this deck in the first place was its beast tag in Druid. Browsing my collection, I stumbled upon Menagerie Warden, and a sense of greed filled my body as I imagined duplicating a Hadronox on board.
When put in practise, this yet happened only once. However, this deck has a couple of good beasts that you can duplicate. More about this in card choices
Card choices
Innervate: Abuse it while we still can!
Naturalize: As a single copy, it's included to aid you in matches against Mages (Polymorph), Shamans (Devolve & Hex) or other situations in which you think your opponent can deal with Hadronox by transforming it. You cast it on your own Hadronox as soon as you play it, to instantly fill your board with strong taunts, and put it in the deathpool for N'zoth.
Shellshifter & Druid of the Claw: These taunts also return with Hadronox, and both combo with Menagerie Warden. If you get Fandral Staghelm on your Druid of the Claw, you get a 4/6 taunt with charge that also returns on your hadronox, allowing you to instantly impact the board or push for damage
Infested Tauren combo's both with N'zoth, the Corrupter and Hadronox, making it a very valuable asset to this deck.
I was thinking of putting one Moat Lurker for the added memes.
Testing the deck.
Cutted a Naturalize for Strongshell Scavenger.
Really fun deck.
OP here. How is a Scavenger working? I am looking for a replacement for one Naturalize but having a tough time.
Yo i got third place in a tournament with a token/taunt druid deck that ran two copies of scavenger. The tournament whas gamescope aalborg if you want confirmation. The tournament whas very early in the meta and so the deck is no longer viable but my expirience with scavenger is that it is perfect for turn 10 with spreading plague. Other than that it goes quite well with druid of the swarm and crypt lord. As this deck is more late game this will no be playable untill very late. Max 1 coppy imo. You could swap out two infested taurens for 1 scavenger and 1 druid of the swarm. allso, concider only running one feral rage. i feel like it is not a great clear and running two of it removes must needed tempo. Great deck keep it up!
Hi guys,
I crafted N'zoth for this deck however I didnt realised that I dont have druid of the swarm too, how can I replace this ? (I dont craft rares and commons)
What can i add instead of N'Zoth? actually i don't have it and since he's gonna go out soon i don't think is a good idea to craft him... o.o (btw thanks for posting your deck =D )
Pretty Good deck. But I don't think second Naturalize is needed. I replaced innervate with Spellbreaker
Thank you for sharing your build, I too have been mucking around with a Hadronox deck and hadn’t thought to include Menagerie Warden’s for the Beast synergies. FYI I made two small changes. I’ve replaced 1 Naturalize for Cenarius which I unpacked in this weeks Tavern Brawl deck and replaced the 2 Feral Rage’s with 2 Tar Creeper’s which are just too good against Aggro decks not to include. It might be a bit too greedy but I’ll give it a try and let you know how I go, currently at lvl 13.
I have been working with Hadronox for a few weeks (with varied success), and am glad to see other people trying to figure it out! Although it is a situational drop, Moat Lurker is absolutely worth adding to hadronox decks. It triggers Hadronox when played, and summons it if they have any mass removal, which makes it a better option than Menagerie Warden IMO. Im excited to try your deck! thanks for posting :)
Why not include a Strongshell Scavenger ?
What a stupid answer. Strongshell Scavenger seems like a good card to include in a taunt druid deck. Maybe if you have nothing sensible to reply, then do not reply at all.
I put it in this deck's first iteration. The reason I took it out is because later on in the game it was usually just better to just play another taunt. The deck doesn't win by taking the board early and buff your taunts, it usually wins by stalling and later-on overwhelming the opponent.
I did not get enough value out of Strongshell Scavenger consistently, so I took it out for other minions. That being said, you can still try to include a copy, probably the best substitution is the second Naturalize.
I think it's an essential card for this deck. Just add it as I did
I don't think Nzoth and Taurens are good, deck is too slow with agro. Added a couple of Mire Keepers and Soggoth that i think fits good in this deck. What do you think guys?
In my opinion when you have too many combinations in 1 deck they just don't work.
I think they work really nicely, but you're free to switch cards around, offcourse. Too many combinations in a deck do worsen one, I agree. However, when many combination are all synergistic towards the same goal, it does work.
How is the deck with Mirekeepers working?
Mire keeper is a good idea yes but Nzoth ressurects Hadronoxx and without him you're vulnerable to large board clears after the first Hadronoxx proc
TunkeeperSarim, are you trolling? I find that the second Hadronox comes out pretty often even. Best have Infested Taurens come alongside it so you're not killed after that slow N'zoth turn, but I find it comes out pretty consistently.
Is there any replacement for hadronox?
Yeah, a different deck :(
finaly a place for my goldenhadronox
