What Im not understand is, why no Hungry Crabs instead of Stiched Tracker, there are many Paladins.
Hungry Crab is absolutely terrible.
This is an aggressive deck, so it is the deck to be countered, not to counter, thats why you should run no tech cards. (In my opinion)
What's the advantage of Bearshark compared to, say, Vicious Fledgling?
And how do you get value from Tracking?
As its card text says, bearshark can't be targeted by spells and hero powers making it hard to remove. You get value from tracking by choosing the card you need for your gameplan execution or to deal with what you face.
All of those are true for the cards on their own, I would like to know what makes them good in this deck :)
You don't see many people use Tracking, is all.
Better vs druid, priest(4 attack too) and mage.
Same here, I just added a second Highmane and replaced the pirates with Jeweled Macaw
Hey, one question.. can i replace Kindly for Ravasaur Rant?
You would be replacing a good card with a bad card, but you could. You should consider Scavenging Hyena instead if you are looking for a replacement 2 drop.
Thanks :)
Great deck, went from rank 15 to rank 10 in one hour beating everything (Pirate Warrior, Token Druid, Zoolock - these were the most frequent at EU ladder now)
Very beatable deck even in mid-game. AoE just rips the skin off it. Dragonfire Potion, Flamestrike, Brawl, Defile, even a regular Spreading Plague just mean the end of its steam.
Sure, if mulligan's right (strictly, Alleycat + Crackling Razormaw + "right" evolve (+3 attack // drop 2 1/1 minions) + Bearshark + Houndmaster), this deck can hurt, almost win straight up. In all other cases it can be easily dealt with.
Thanks for letting us know the weaknesses of hunter face decks. Would not have known unless you told us. Asmodai took this deck to rank 1 legend, beating out all the jade druids along the way which is why it's featured.
You're welcome. I'm glad I uncovered some mystery of the game for the world to know.
I'm sure Asmodai is a fabulous player, that's what led him L1. As for me, I rarely reach Legend at all. My point was - this deck does not solve any of the issues of all aggro decks. Sure, it packs some extra turn 1-2-3 speed; can push opponent life to 20 by turn 4, wow. But unless it is supported by some superior playing and planning skills, it hardly survives any AoE.
Therefore, praise to Mr. Asmodai for taking such a difficult deck that high.
Thanks for the medal - boy, Gee knows I wanted one since they used to put donkey-earred crowns on my head back at school. Was really a king back then.
All the cards I just listed destroy any aggro deck - sure, that's why the only meaningful aggro deck that's out there is either Pirate Warrior or Token druid, which happen to set lethal before many of those AoE get to become playable. A deck like Asmodai's setting lethal at turn 6? Mh, hardly so - save for the case of perfect mulligan, which I already enlisted.
As I was just saying to Mr./Mme. Spectralfire1984, my point was that this deck does not add much to the plain-jane mid-range Hunter - fill the board, buff the beasts, go face and keep your fingers crossed against taunts/AoE. Therefore, being that exposed to even basic removals, it surely needs a superior player controlling it - a praise to Mr. Asmodai, in fact. I'm sure your IQ got you that message ahead of anyone out here.
Should we all stop playing aggro - pls no, otherwise how could I rank?
The deck runs one Highmane because it is a smorc deck and u can also discover more from stitched trackers
