synergy with armor smith, also this deck mainly has mid game removal, doomsayer is really only good on turn 2-3
I have never liked playing warrior until now. Reminds me of old mill rogue decks of yesteryear. Good, clean fun. :)
If you need Doomsayer to this deck, you're definitely playing it wrong...
This deck is really damn good, but you need to play it really well for it to work... A single mistake can cost you the game, sometimes I get to the late game and then realize that I lost the game on turn 5. :P
It's really good vs. Jade Druid too :D
Trying to learn how to play this deck well. Can we get some tips and tricks?
dog posted a long guide on how to play the deck. it is good. the op should link it.

It is. Skulking Geist gets rid of Jade Idols, and you can Dirty Rat -> Brawl to get rid of a strong enemy board and make the enemy skip a golem (because Dirty Rat doesn't trigger battlecries). Sleep with the Fishes is also pretty strong to get rid of golems especially combined with Shadowmourne's attack. Depending on your card drawing speed, and how many golems the enemy can still summon, you might want to shuffle your brawl (if still has it), but definately shuffle Sleep with the Fishes and Execute (with card draw and some armor cards), so you can get rid of golems until the enemy runs out of fuel.
Jade Druid also draws a whole lot. Nourish x2, Wrath x2, UI x2 means drawing 18 cards. Ofc, they may choose to not play these cards or use the other choose one option if they know you're fatigue but they still have a lot of dead cards in hand then.
How to replace Thalnos?
I'm new to the deck, so don't take this as granted but here's my two cents:
Thalnos is good cause of spell damage can help with whirlwind and slam but also a 2 mana card draw that's a bit annoying for the enemy. I would say it depends on what you need more. Card draw, or spell damage (, what decks you face against the most)? If cheap spell damage you can even replace it with Kobold in my opinion, if cheap card draw, Novice Engineer. On Higher ranks you might consider using a second brawl instead of Thalnos, maaaaybe a shield slam, cause you should be building up a good amount of armor. Or Ravaging ghoul for another whirlwind effect that can be beneficial in triggering acolyte and armorsmith.
hey, just tried and feels nice. thalnos is for draw mostly, i didnt find myself too often to use the spell dmg
if you need spell dmg, replace with tainted zealot, i tried, wasnt really working
try the forge of souls, so you draw out the weapons then the deck has less variables
im not pro either, but here is my strategy: mulligan for the draw so acolyte whirlwind, best is to take some dmg, then start armoring up, its perfectly fine to pass, 2-3 turns, this helps with battle rage if your hero damaged and the minion you placed gets damaged you draw two, i was struggling with 20 armor extra finding the combo
the goal is to have 2 dead mans hand in hand 2 coldlight 1 execute 1 bring it on at least, but minimum 2 dead mans, 1 oracle and try to not use up the second cards if possible, 1 brawl is fine if you can manage to put back, they wont really have minions for 3rd brawl
if you wanna go fancy, rotface can work too
kolento even used some doomsayers and extra weapons
so far when i could resend my battle rages to deck and had some dmg on face, the combos went fast drawing 2 cards, i may even include a sabretooth stalker and a crazed alchemist just for that xD 2/8 stealth to be dmged every turn to draw
Why run Public Defender over doomsayer/brawl?
This is only my opinion but:
Usually one brawl is enough, if the deck is slow, you will have time to reshuffle it, if necessary, but if you didn't use brawls you definately don't want two shuffle "dead" cards back in your deck, and 5 mana is a lot to get rid of a card, one usually does the job but I think 2 might work if you face lots of minion heavy decks.
It's better than doomsayer, cause you don't want this card to be played early. You want it to tank some damage later and maybe use it for some card draw (Battle Rage). Because this is a Taunt, it saved me a few times (I'm new to this deck) where doomsayer's lack of taunt would have just caused me to die.
I've been playing the deck for several games now, and I've found use for the card. Thanks for your comment as well!
What is the benefit of two armor smiths in a deck with so few minions?
To get insane amount of armor with the DK Hero Power (He even got so much one time that he out-armored an Exodia Mage combo)
There's only so much time in a turn. If you have enough armor, your opponent can run out of time to cast fireballs.
Wow! It's there a video of this?
