This is a tweaked list I used to climb from rank 20 to rank 10 in a couple days. Took a break from hearthstone after but I'm sure that this list could hit rank 5 and possibly legend. Feel free to tweak this list as every list can be improved upon and this one is far from an exception.

First of all I would like to begin this saying that the reason N'Zoth isn't in this deathrattle list is becuase,

1. Not a great fit with the deathrattles I have, I don't have a ton, 8, and they aren't very big or game-swinging.

2. Deck wants to be able to start fast and also sustain in the mid-game, adding N'Zoth could ruin many of the fast starts this deck can achieve

Deck Basics:

I have probably played around 100 games with different variations of deathrattle hunter lists and have pretty much settled with this. The list is not super all in on deathrattle synergies as its only payoffs are, Barnes, Play Dead, and Corpse Widow. The way the deck plays out is very hand dependent. Often times this deck will have very fast starts and overwhelm the opponent like a normal midrange hunter. If you have an agressive hand, try to push for face damage as the deck has a solid amount of reach to finish off an opponent. Other games it is smart to tank up behind a stonehill defender and play a more mid-late game oriented with big minions like savannah lion and bonemare that can be tough for opponents to deal with, especially druids.

Matchups:

Becuase I don't record most of my games I only have 50 games worth of data but I'll share what I learned.

Decks:

Jade Druid: Jade Druid is likely the best matchup in which I am 12-2. This deck really doesn't care about spreading plague and can just either kill the opponent as he is in ramp phase or kill him after a clunky nourish turn. Make sure to go for tempo in this matchups because the only games you lose are the ones in which you play too slowly. Although this record will be difficult to maintain it is an extremely strong deck against jade which is one of the main draws to play this deck

Most Priest Decks:

I don't have specific data for individual priest decks but the majority of this data is from singleton, silence, and quest priest with a roughly even split between all three. I am 10-6 against priest and although this is a small sample size most games played out fairly straight-forward and similar to jade druid. When priest gets shadow reaper anduin it is almost always an immediate loss so it is important to try to be very agressive and play around dragonfire as an insta-lose at the same time. The best way to do this is playing your deathrattle cards so you allow yourself to attain a large board but to also have more minions if your board is cleared. This is one of the main reasons to play deathrattle hunter as your board is always extremely hard to clear if piloted correctly.

Evolve Shaman:

Far and away the worst matchup at 3-8. It can be very difficult to set up a board early with some of the slower draws and you just get snowballed to oblivion. With this matchup it is very draw dependant and always mulligan cards that to not immediately affect the board. For example kindly grandmother is almost always a keep in most matchups but should be mulliganed without a houndmaster, play dead, or razormaw to accompany it.

Other matchups I simply do not have enough data to talk about but here is a few rough tips

When playing aggro just play normally and make efficient trades and rely on cards such as kindly grandmother to get efficient trades..

When playing slower control decks just try to always pressure with a couple big minions such as savannah lion and never overcommit to board unless you have lots of deathrattles.

Possible Cards Cut/Added

Cards that can be cut:

Jeweled Macaw

Play Dead(Not reccomended to be cut but not necessary)

Loot hoarder

Stonehill defender(Can be swapped with tar creeper if facing lots of aggro)

Barnes (Must run if have but can be replaced with any other deathrattle payoff)

All other cards are pretty key to the deck and should only be meddled with a bit.

Possible Additions

Mistress of Mixtures

Alleycat(If trying to be more agressive)

Abominable Bowman

Scavenging Hyena

Raptor Hatchling

Golakka Crawler

Tar Creeper

Cairne Bloodhoof(Would probably run it but I don't have enough to craft it)

There are plenty of other cards that can be experimented with and those are only a few suggestions if the deck feels like it needs to be switched.

If you enjoy the deck make sure to give it an upvote and if this list gets popular enough I will record gameplay and make more in-depth guides. Thanks for reading!
