Hello guys
I cannot believe still no one has posted this newly discovered interaction yet. It's the Naga Sea Witch and giants interaction. Recently people have found with Naga Sea Witch on the board, all giants start with 5 mana and then calculate their discounts. For example, if you have 25 life now, both Molten Giant cost 0 mana and Mountain Giant can easily cost 0 mana too With this combo, on turn 5 and later turn, you can easily fill the board with giants. This gaint combo also works with the druid deck with Ultimate Infestation to find theNaga Sea Witch.general guide
You can always keep Mountain Giant and Twilight Drake and all early game cards, such as Imp Gang Boss and AOEs (Hellfire and Defile. Don't keep other giants as you will draw them anyway during the game.
It if you know you are against aggro deck (e.g. pirate warrior), keep the AOEs. If you know you are against control decks (priest decks), hard mulligan for Naga Sea Witch and Mountain Giant to have a strong turn 4 or 5.

I think I need to be clear, this is not a handlock deck. Handlock needs very low health to play Molten Giant and Sunfury Protector to taunt one or two giants to protect the hero from dying. In this deck, very often (70-80% of the time), when you face not so aggro decks, you drop the Naga Sea Witch on turn 4 (with coin)-turn6 along with two or three giants (you can drop Molten Giant with 25 health for 0 mana). So you don't need Sunfury Protector because it's not a handlock.
also changes for better early game control
-2X Imp Gang Boss, +2 Voidwalker;
-1X Twilight Drake ,-1X Imp-losion,+2 Tainted Zealot;
-1X Loatheb, +1 Despicable Dreadlord
Enjoy!
Highest rank?
I feel like Voidcaller is kind of bad choice since the battlecry of Abyssal Enforcer is something you probably don't wanna miss. And for 4 mana the best it can summon from your hand is another 4 mana card with a much better effect (or a 1 mana taunt). I would put Imp Gang Boss back in. Imp Gang Boss is also a great card for a sick board clear with Defile.
What do you think?
The Voidcaller can not only drag down [card]Abyssal Enforcer[/card] but also [card]Despicable Dreadlord[/card]. I put two of them is simply want to have a tempo lead with it on turn five and there are too many strong aggro deck now. People normally will not kill the Voidcaller right after you drop it because they don't want to risk what you have in your hand. On turn five, simply drop the 1mana taunt and something else if you have both this and [card]Despicable Dreadlord[/card]. Then suiside the Voidcaller.
I've tried the Imp Gang Boss too. I think it's equally good as the Voidcaller. Although the Imp Gang Boss works great with the Defile, it makes the Bloodreaver Gul'dan return super bad. So for now, I keep two copies of Voidcaller.
10-1 now, very funny deck, i cut 1 Molten Giant (have only one) and add @Mal'Ganis, very strong with voidcaller and DK! Thanks
If you wanted to go for broke you could probably also throw Hemet, Jungle Hunter in there to make sure you draw your giants...
Why removing Loatheb? Castin a lot of giants followed by Loatheb is an impossible board state for you opponent to escape from. Seems a pity to remove such a great win condition.
I found the Lothaeb to slow for the wild meta. Sometimes you are finished in turn 7....
Can i play this deck without the Bloodreaver Gul'dan?
Sure, you can also play the NZoth package, likeMistress of Mixtures,Sludge Belcher for the stall. If you don't have NZoth, those deathrattle cards are generally good on their own. Meanwhile, Doomsayer and Stonehill Defender are good too. If you don't like the control style of play, you can change to a more tempo style with the element package. It's a very versatile deck.
I surprised a lot of my friends, they never see this interaction before. Cool interaction. :-)
Very nice deck so far, my early season climb is very efficient, thank you !
However, I'm not too sure about the "demon package". Imp gang boss and imp-losion just mess with your guldan, Voidcaller does not put anything on the battlefield... I've put Voidwalkers, Tar creeper against aggro and added one despicable dreadlord and abyssal enforcer instead of the aforementioned cards.
Thank you for the reply. The reason why I put the demon package is I want this deck more like a tempo deck rather than a control handlock deck. The cool part of this deck is it has a high pressure on turn 4-6 with giants and unlike the handlock, it's very consistant. Also, unlike handlock, you don't need to have a handful cards to activate the Mountain Giant and Twilight Drake. With this free of hand size, you can play a tempo deck with strong 3-4 drop put on the board on time. That's why I had the demon package. But you are also right, I should optimize the deck a little bit more.
Why is there no Sunfury Protectors in the deck? If you are playing a giant handlock deck, seems almost essential just so you don't get rushed down easily.
Because this is not hand lock.
Sorry, I thought it was because you labeled it as handlock. What about Defender of Arguses then?
Sorry for the confusion. I generally think Defender of Argus is even slower/worse than the Sunfury protector since it's a 4-drop. You wanna taunt your giants with the lowest cost as a combo. However, I believe there is no need for the taunt stall, as we've got enough early game AOE and mid game heals. Most my losses now are against Reno decks with even greedier late game packages. I'd say now, I will put more late game cards, such as Medivh or Alexdraza if possible.
You can have [card]Naga Sea Witch[/card], [card]Loatheb[/card] and multiple giants at turn 10, make the board almost impossible to clear! Cool deck!
shadowreaper anduin
yes, in wild priest is a hard match up, they can also use Lightbomb. But it's a fun deck to try at least.
cool~
