Only need 2 or 3 try... not 45....
It's the same problem with the murloc decks. Obliterate just ruins everything. This deck seems great and I'll keep trying but, damn. Damn, damn.
3th try, thanks!
40-50 Mulligans and 20-30 trys and success.
I saw the comment section quite skeptical, I didn't know If this was just another troll list but it turned out great. I did it on my 2nd attempt after days of trying (not exaggerating).
I was lucky enough to not run into obliterates nor belcher, and I made it through. I killed the king on turn 7.
Kudos!
Literally first try, deck as it was! Mulligan for Dragonhawk, divine shield stack it up and trade early. Got lucky with constant divine shields until it was buffed to 12/2. Wrecked from there.
Lost 7 times with dragonhawk turn 1, constant obliterate, the only game he didn't he kept freezing my dragonhawk.
9th try with dragonhawk was the charm. So about 45-50 resets
Very nice +
Uh finally! Beat him after several tries (don't believe get illuded by the 2-3 tries title). You have to be lucky enough to get the right cards AND Lich King can't have Obliterate. Just as everybody said, T1: Young Dragon Hawk then buff him on other turns.
Takes mi about 30 tries when i not counting restarts for dragonhawk.
finally lich king hasn't obliterate and i won!
Also 2 blessing of wisdom was so helpful. drawing 4 cards turn 2. But you need divine shield same time. I was lucky my 50th try.
turn 1 dragon hawk
turn 2 blessing of wisdom + divine shield
turn 3 blessing of wisdom + divine shield + blessing of might
ME: T1 played Young Dragonhawk, ME: T2 played Blessing of Might, LK: played Obliterate.
FAIL
Yes, just restarted until had dragonhawk
Thanks!
90% of these '1st try' posts are bogus :) People just like being funny.
Realistically this is what to expect:
Restart 10x until you get Dragonhawk in opening hand
When you do finally get it, obliterate in turns 2-4
Restart 10x more times until you get Dragonhawk
Repeat until you get lucky as hell he doesn't have obliterate
It's a pain in the a$$ RNG battle, but eventually you'll get lucky - just expect to restart 50+ times
I guess I can share my result with this deck. After trying Majordomo deck for almost two hours, I tried this one.
It took me a few mulligans to get Dragonhawk in my hand. Buffed with Blessing of Wisdom, it got me my victory in a few minutes.
After many, many restarts, this deck eventually worked.
Mulligan hard for Young Dragonhawk. If you can't play it turn one, or you can't play the Selfless Hero T1 and Dragonhawk on T2 after the draw, then just restart.
You then need to get several lucky draws in a row and do everything possible to keep the Dragonhawk alive and preferably with a Divine Shield. You can get extra draws by Blessing of Wisdom on the Dragonhawk.
On T2 or T3, he may Obliterate it. If he does, just restart.
On T5, he's likely to play a Sludge Belcher. Use Dark Conviction on it to make it easier to kill with a weapon or some other minion if you have it. If you have to hit it with the Dragonhawk once, make sure you give it back the Divine Shield afterwards.
If you can't kill him by the end of T7, and he brings out Shadowmourne, then you lose. Restart.
Basically, get very lucky and buff the heck out of the Dragonhawk and you will eventually win. Takes about half an hour or so. Expect to restart 50-ish times. Expect to get close (but no cigar) at least once. After playing about 8 games, I beat him with it, but those were all games where I started with the Dragonhawk. Any game where you don't get it early, don't bother trying.
Paladin is by far the hardest class to beat him with, but this did eventually work to get me the Arthas hero, so, yeah. Stick in there.
Just concede every game you can't play dragonhawk turn 1, didn't take too long
This deck is plain bad! 2-3 trys? More 2000-3000 trys. This deck does NOT work guys. Dont waste your time with it! Better go with the Majordomus deck
First try. WutFace
2-3 tries my ass. 20th try and this dumbass dragonhawk is still getting obliterated before I can do anything. Trash deck.
