Yet anouther cheap deck for Lich King.
Mulligan for Alarm-o-Bot and Stubborn Gastropod.
Feel free to add any big legendary minions (especially The Lich King or Deathwing, Dragonlord, etc) if you have one.
Proof:
Good luck!
Worked for me on my second try!!! Thanks
Great idea!
I added a bunch of heavy legendaries and did it on first try!
Once you get the mulligan right, easy win. Sometimes you don't need the snail, if he doesn't coin on turn 2, but it helps!
Thanks for the deck! Worked the first time I had both Stubborn Gastropod and Alarm-O-Bot in the mulligan
100+ tries.Still not lucky enough.:(
Took me about 30 tries finally got lucky with Army of the Dead from my The Lich King.
I was happy to finally get the right mulligan. It went perfect as I switched the bot into a taunt while the snail was still alive....... he used 2 obliterates in 1 turn and killed my beloved bot
It took a few hours but it worked. Honorable mentions to Kel'Thuzad and Prince Malchezaar.
Wow, first try with opening hand containting Alarm-o-Bot and Stubborn Gastropod
Thank you it worked! I tried 2 other decks without being lucky enought... With this one it's finally done! But I had to restart a lot, and even with the good cards, it took me several tries before winning because the Lich King is a real cheater!! Patience is the key I guess!
PS: I replaced some cards because I didn't have all those indicated, may be that's the reason it took me more time...
Got lucky and beat this the first try. Thx for the deck!
I tried murloc warrior, taunt+scalebane and this deck about 20+ times each, and managed to defeat him with this deck finally. You just gotta be patient, try to find gastropod and alarmobot in the first 3 draws, otherwise restart. Watching netflix or something might help cooling your head a bit and take your mind off the struggle. Also, thanks for sharing the deck and good luck to everyone.
Tried with some decks about 50 times. Have won with this in 5
Been at it for 2 days, on and off for probably 7-8 hours, and this is by far the most frustrating of any of the classes for me. I cannot get this to work, not even close. I don't think I've had him sub-100 armor even yet... maybe once.
Even if I get the pod + bot (which is about 1 in 5 restarts, even with mulligan), I'm lucky if I can keep the bot alive to get any more than 1-2 swaps before it's either obliterated, frozen + shattered or just taken out by his trash. If you don't pull a taunt in the first bot, might as well restart.
Even if you make it to phase 2 with board control (God forbid you go in with him having anything still up, or he'll flood the board and Anti-Magic shell [sometimes x2] and destroy whatever you think you had built) you need to be full health + 4/6 armor. Anything still up going into phase 3 will either be bonemare'd or protected by belcher, chain-gang + maexxna poison. Your taunts will be obliterated if you made it that far (likely because he hasn't used obliterate yet) or if you DO manage to get into phase 3 his blizzard(s) + shatter will stall you enough for him to rebuild behind cheap trash which then becomes +2/+2 or +4/+4. Meanwhile, you're taking his ramping hero power damage and if (when) he breaks through your taunts, it's over.
I don't have the exact list of cards, but pretty close and have decent high-level cards.
Obviously it can be done as I have seen the vids, but man... I haven't wanted to punch a video game this badly for probably 20 years.
I'm sure you figured out a way to beat this already, but I have one quick tip. After a point, you may want to drop a taunt minion or something else instead of your bot. On the game where this deck finally won it for me, I had to hold off on playing the bot a couple times because I couldn't defend it.
nice deck, lots of mulligans. still haven't beaten it though. i started with a bot and gastropod, and then drew a bot on turn 3. funny story: bot switched for bot. fml right?
Crazy deck. Thx bro
He plays turn 2 that 3/4 and that's it i cant play the bot out
Wow. Got Stubborn Gastrpod out, used alarm-o-bot which got out faceless behemoth, and on his turn, he plays two obliterate to kill alarm-o-bot, and faceless behemoth, and kills Stubborn Gastropod with the minion he had on the board. FML!
The only deck which worked for me thank you.
