I have always drawn the scorn of the RNG gods, and while I keep getting close with this deck, I have fallen short after way more attempts than other posters claim. This is also after countless restarts because having bad RNG luck for life also means I can't draw a good opening hand to save my life. Oh, not exactly this deck, I should say. I crafted a few I didn't have and subbed in some other murlocs for some legendaries I don't have. I like having coldlight oracle in there for card draw.
Edit: I literally got him on the attempt after I wrote this comment. Always bitch and moan to get what you want. Drew tidecaller and shadowflame in my opening hand, so I knew this was my best shot yet. Drew Hooked Reaver (who I subbed in for the 4 mana legendary murloc) on turn 3 or so, so was able to drop him on turn 6 with 14 health to buff him to 7/7 with taunt. LK hit him with Shadowmourne, then I shadowflamed him to end phase 2 and killed him the same turn. Here's my deck (pretty cheap one too):

Am i supposed to be at 10 health for the fight?? lol
Great deck! Won on my first try with no resets!
7th try nice, it was my last one
Well, now I'm kicking myself. I spent hours between yesterday and today trying to beat him with RenoLock, despite not quite having the card quality. It always seemed so tantalizingly close, but he was always able to deal with my threats and just deal way too much damage. On my best games I'd just be establishing uncontested board presence in phase 3, only to die to his hero power.
So I decided a change of strategy was in order. Saw this deck and thought I'd give Murloc Warlock a shot here.
My . Didn't have the legendaries, but I did craft the Seadevils. It went something like this:

Draw: Tidecaller, Tidehunter, Coldlight Seer, Warleader. I was afraid I'd blow the perfect draw. LK did nothing turn 1, and just summoned a 2/2 turn 2. Buy then I had the warleader out and just sac'd the now 3/2 scout to kill it. Turn 4, I Seadevil'd out a seer. LK played one of those 0/5 val'kyr. I could have given up 9 damage to face to kill it with my tidecaller, but I knew that "playing not to lose" in this encounter isn't an option. You need to play to win and hope for luck. The Val'Kyr fired off fairly harmlessly on a Tinyfin. He played another. At this point, I knew I had him. I killed it easily now that I had murloc damage to spare, and killed him on my 6th turn. His 5th. Maybe he had that blizzard. We'll never know. I doubt it would have stopped me if he'd made it to phase 2 though.

Worked on 10th try.
Second try, Good deck, for those without Finja, the Flying Star add Menagerie Magician. Proof: https://hsreplay.net/replay/2b3xT25qE5yq46RPZVvwPd
if only it were that easy. 7th try and still haven't gotten turn one tidecaller
Great deck. Beat him on my first try without any difficulty.
3rd try flappy bird went off on turn 6 Tks!!
First try, thank you!
I'm so glad that some people get the fight on the first try. I really am. But let's be perfectly honest here, YOU only got it on your first try because the RNG fell into your favor. To try to pass it off as a "sure" thing is just stupid. That's like winning the powerball lottery with only one ticket and proclaiming that you only had to "buy one ticket". I really, really wonder how many of you so-called "first time winners" actually went back to actually see if it was your "skill" or just the RNG that fell into your favor?
Took about 5 tries but I was able to do it. Switched over from the Reno Warlock deck which I tried over 10 times with no luck. Thanks for the deck!
So easy. I won turn 6. Flappy bird + tidecaller is easy win. Thanks!
Thank you! It helped a lot. Only took about three tries :)
First try, thanks, been struggling like 30+ attempt with a bad renolock, thanks again :)
First try. Thank you ! Great deck ! (I didn't even draw the legendaries - I used shadowflame on a 6 attack murloc to clear the board in P2 and then in P3 a Leader buffed them all for a fast kill by turn 9).
