General presentation

Hi fellow Hearthstoners !

I have not much time to play because I'm currently writing my Master Thesis, but I also love Hearthsone and trust you guys, that's why I could use some help testing and improving this deck ! All your reviews are welcome, and don't hesitate to upvote this deck so we can be even more to think together !!!!

I heard you guys like originality, and I wanted to make a deck with this "If it's your opponent's turn" mechanic, and figured out that it could work pretty well with an Aggroadin like deck ! With this deck, you won't fear board clears anymore, and you'll be able to completely lock the board down in your favor and force your opponent to watch his world burn !

EDIT: with the upcoming nerfs, this deck will be even more effective at laddering !

EDIT :  I removed Truesilver Champion and Meat Wagon to add 2x Chillblade Champions for more sustainability and to be able to finish your opponens with some combos like Chillblade ChampionSpikeridged Steed or Blessing of Kings ! Removed one Dire Wolf Alpha and Divine Favor to add two Argent Squire after ThijsHS's review !

Replacements

As many people asked for it, here comes the replacements list !

  • Sunkeeper Tarim : this card is pretty unique, I don't see much of a replacement because Tarim buffs your minions and debuffs your opponent's ones, but you cloud try to play one more Spellbreaker to counter some annoying minions, or add one more Hydrologist to counter mages.

  • Wickerflame Burnbristle : he is not needed at all in this deck, but helps you surviving long enough against more aggressive decks. Add one more Dire Wolf Alpha to be more aggressive, or Tar Creeper if you want to keep that bit of extra defense. Arfus, is also a good choice, since he could provide you with eggcellent DK cards (Anti-Magic Shell !!!)

  • Tirion Fordring : gives you the tools needed to push for extra damages if the game gets to long. You could add one Dinosize if you are greedy enough, or even Leeroy Jenkins for the charge. In a more defensive style, you could add The Lich King, for the DK cards value !

Tests and deck variant (more craziness !!)

In the current decklist, there are some card spots left open for "innovation". I used these card spots to include the Meat Wagon because this card deserves love, but you could also include the following cards, as suggested by some of you (thanks ;D) :

The deck variant I'm currently trying is running Cobalt Scalebane and Corpse Raiser instead of Spiritsinger Umbra and Meat Wagon

Matchups

[Easy] Highlander Priest / EZ Big EZ Priest

These decks usually skip their 4 first turns, take advantage of the situation to fill the board if you have a good hand. Always try to put [card]Spikeridged Steed[/card] on one of your minions to set its attack to 4, the Skelemancer is the perfect target ! Lock the board down and they won't be able to clear it. Play arround the Potion of Madness ! If they start putting down some heavy minions, you will have a few chances getting trough playing your Dark Convictions, but at this point, it might be to late.

[Easy] Jade Druid / EZ Big EZ Druid

Play the same way you'd play against a Priest, but don't overextend, or you'll gest punished by Spreading Plague. Druids have an hard time dealing with minions that have much health, so having some Devilsaur Eggs or Skelemancers taunted up with [card]Spikeridged Steed[/card]s or Bonemares will often win you the game as long as they didn't ramp up to quickly !

[Easy] Aggro Hunter

This is an easy match up if you manage to play on curve with Righteous Protector, Hydrologist and Rallying Blade and to taunt up one of your Skelemancers. Don't play your Devilsaur Eggs or you'll loose to much tempo, except if you're ahead on the board, then it's a win more condition !

[Easy] DK Warlock / Handlock

Play the same way you'd play against a priest. Put some Skelemancers or Devilsaur Eggs on board turn 5 or 6 in order to counter the use of its Abyssal Enforcers turn 7. Try to finish the Warlock before turn 10, or keep your Dark Convictions, or you won't be able to manage all the minions resurected by [card]Bloodreaver Gul'dan[/card].

[Easy] Rogue :

Pretty easy match up, because the rogues rely on their board clears to survive, and they won't be able to use much of them haha ! Try to play arround Sap, and keep your Dark Convictions in order to counter the Arcane Giants or Edwin VanCleef.

[Easy] Pirate Warrior

This matchup clearly depends on your starting hand and your opponent's one. Once again, play on curve with Righteous Protector, Hydrologist and Rallying Blade, always trade the board, and taunt up one of your Skelemancers. Once past this point, you should be able to win easely. Don't play your Devilsaur Eggs or you'll loose to much tempo, except if you're ahead on the board, then it's a win more condition !

 [Medium ] Quest Mage

The mage player has to be very careful about his clears if you fill the board with some Devilsaur Eggs or Skelemancers. Use your Dark Convictions and your Rallying Blades to clear the Doomsayers. Play arround the eventual Polymorphs.

Use your Hydrologists to obtain Eye for an Eye. Once this card obtained, your goal will be to put Jaina exactly to 1HP and then use your secret. She won't be able to do anything because even a simple ping would kill her ! (except if she manages to heal herself by some kind of miracle).

[Medium] Exodia Paladin

Try to be the first to taunt up one of your minions with [card]Spikeridged Steed[/card] or Bonemare. Don't always clear the board but try to be as aggressive as possible, by letting your [card]Spikeridged Steed[/card]ed Skelemancers take the hits.

[Medium / Hard ] Murloc Paladin

He usually dominates the board, and gets a lot of value out of his Murlocs if he has the perfect draw... Play on curve, try to fill up the board with 'active' minions, don't play your Devilsaur Eggs  or you'll loose to much tempo. Try to be the first to taunt up one of your minions with [card]Spikeridged Steed[/card] or Bonemare. Always clear the board when possible !

[Medium / Hard] Lich Mage

Same strategy as against a quest mage, but don't use your hero power if Jaina turned toFrost Lich Jaina, or it will be a free 3/6 life stealing water elemental for her ! This matchup is hard because Jaina will constantly heal herself and you will run out of steam at a certain point, try to rush the board before Frost Lich Jaina is played !

 [Hard] Evolve Shaman

Hardest matchup, the shaman usually dominates the board, and gets a lot of value out of his multiple evolutions... Try to fill up the board with 'active' minions, don't play your Devilsaur Eggs  or you'll loose to much tempo. Play arround Hex !   Always clear the board when possible, or you will face some evolved bullsh*t !
