removed -1 Defender of Argus
added +1 Skelemancer
This is basicly an attempt to win more games by refilling the board after a board clear on turn 5-6-7.
Defender of Argus was just another small "boost" card to the deck,
the taunt effect isn't that needed,
and in some case is even a risky gamble (such as taunting a Vicious Fledgling, behind an already healthy Crypt Lord)
(I was debating between removing Defender of Argus or Grim Necromancer,
but in the end I thought being able to spawn 3 minions might be more usefull than Defender of Argus)
I'm currently wondering if Eggnapper would be better than Grim Necromancer in order to compensate for the missing Living Mana (so we can keep having a board after board clears)
to be honest, I'm running neither of them, because I'm running 1x Bittertide Hydra
this is the only card different from this deck, in the deck that I currently ladder with.
right now I am rank10 and I'm gonna try reach rank5 or above with it.
without crafting neither of another Bittertide Hydra or any Living Mana at all
------------------------------------------
if you have the 4 epic cards (2x Bittertide Hydra and 2x Living Mana)
this deck can easily be rank5 or maybe even legend.
Living Mana would be your savior, most of the game you will lose.
so if you have the budget, the best swap for 2x Living Mana is probably 2x Soul of the Forest.
and for 2x Bittertide Hydra is probably 2x Skelemancer (probably better since it's guaranteed to be an 8-8, instead of being avoid to be killed until you die trying to race him to death, or have it blocked behind a taunt)
------------------------------------------
For this budget list; I am currently considering swapping Grim Necromancer for either of these Deathrattle minion ;
(preference for Eggnapper)
Skelemancer , Corpse Raiser , Infested Tauren , Vryghoul , Spawn of N'Zoth , Shallow Gravedigger , Igneous Elemental , Harvest Golem , Eggnapper , Devilsaur Egg or Loot Hoarder.
or Malfurion the Pestilent as a finisher (if you have it, but it's a legendary!)
or Addled Grizzly for extra buffs.
---------------------------------------
I'll keep updating this deck.
please tell me what you think about it.
and feel free to suggest any change to it.
this is my first time posting here and first deck shared.
I'll post more BUDGET DECKS later on, so if you like them, follow me ;-)
Thanks, quick win with one minion :D
2x Soul of the Forest for 2x Living Mana
2x Skelemancer for 2x Bittertide Hydra
Golakka Crawler + Grim Necromancer for Patches the Pirate and Bloodsail Corsair
and now you have the deck Legend pro players use.
for sure it does, but for some match up, you'll need Living Mana, and in some others, Soul of the Forest and Skelemancer will do the job, if you can setup it in time before he clear your board, and Patches is absolutely not required for this deck.
can u also make the aggro druid deck that u climb to Rank 10. cause i got plenty of dust to spent
and this is the current list I run which is rank10 with an high win rate.
(I'm sure I can rank it up to rank5 and I will definitely try before the end of the month, but I don't play ranked often)
if you can afford it ; instead change...
2x Soul of the Forest for 2x Living Mana
2x Skelemancer for 2x Bittertide Hydra
Golakka Crawler + Grim Necromancer for Patches the Pirate and Bloodsail Corsair
and now you have the deck Legend pro players use.
Living Mana are the key cards for this deck to become extremely competitive.
you can stay a few more turn in a game you lost, until you draw it, and win the next turn.
Thanks Ice, apreciate it. I will definitely try it
To turn Crypt Lord into a finisher move
but also to kill all 0-X stats minion such as Doomsayer,
and to easily pass throught all the annoying taunters.
trust me, you'll find use to it sooooo often you will never ever want to run without 2 of them ;)
it's gonna save you pretty often, you'll see!
anyways, since we don't use Patches in a budget deck,
we have extra room for these kind of special tricks! ;)
grim necromancer or defender or argus are not a need for this deck.
(soul is if you don't have living mana)
instead of grim and argus put bittertide hydra if you can, otherwise put eggnapper, skelemancer, or anything you feel good with deathrattle ; summon a minion.
that should make a huge difference.
i don't run living mana i still run soul of the forest
also i run 1 hydra and 1 skelemancer (still run argus)
and i'm rank11, i went on almost a 10 wins streak and since my first lost i'm probably something like 4W-2L.
Nice idea for a budget deck but doesn't stand up currently against people running DK decks
EDIT: Hold up, hit 21 and all of the sudden this deck is wrecking shop. I'd say that overall it's been 40/60 win/loss, and since rank 21 it's been 70/30 win/loss. No idea why...
People are running deathknights decks in rank 21???
I don't think it's really capable of beating any of the popular decks at rank 15 and below...
I'll keep updating this deck.
please tell me what you think about it.
and feel free to suggest any change to it.
I made a quick first suggestion list (and upgrade for little higher budget) on the description of the deck
so check it out, if you haven't already.
lastly ; if you like BUDGET DECKS, follow me! because I'll be posting more of them!
and you don't need to taunt Skelemancer.
because it's played on turn 5
aside of multiple minions that our opponent will need to block or clear in order to survive (most of the time)
we plan on killing the taunters with the help of Crazed Alchemist,
and refill the board with Soul of the Forest or Deathrattle; Summon minions such as Skelemancer.
basicly the goal is to win before turn 6-7.
or at these turns ; already have setup a way to have minions on the board after a board clear.
or having big minions (early on, turn 5 or 6, turn 7 is too late already)
because we don't run the key card to make that deck insanely good by refilling the board instantly at any moment of the game ; 2x Living Mana.
if you run these, the deck become incredibly better, but it's not a budget deck anymore ;-)
talking about that, let's remove Defender of Argus or Grim Necromancer for a 2nd Skelemancer.
I'm almost certain it will raise the overall winrate of the deck.
(EDIT : I've pick Defender of Argus to got out, but I'm thinking about removing Grim Necromancer too, for maybe something like Eggnapper probably, basicly a minion summoning minion with his deathrattle)
