Are you looking for a quick rank one? Well this is the deck for you featuring FIRE ELEMENTALS. While the deck may seem complicated, and it's strategy slow, it competes head to head with control matches, and has tons of value. Depending on the meta, the list will be adjusted.
Strategy:
Muligan quest. It's better to use the quest with Gadgetzan Auctioneer for combos. You want to kill a total of 2 igneous elemental, but do not play fireflys until quest is in play. Thanks to the new deathknight card, if you play the fourth firefly, you can play the 5th using the new Hero power. Make sure that you play quest before playing fireflys!

Posted Aug 15, 2017 (Frozen Throne)I tried to make a similar deck, but failed. I used yours and tweaked it a little and it plays the way I was going for initially. I took out the Swashburglars and Journey Belows in favor of 2x Firefly, Shaku the Collector and Xandril, the Poisoned Mind. Decisions were based on getting more minions and Quest consistency with Firefly, the ability to score random cards with Shaku in place of Swashburglar and contest the early game a little better (btw playing Shaku and then playing a shadow reflection of Shaku is a fun little play I've pulled off a couple times), and then finally Xaril for the body and also to replace add fuel for Auctioneer in place of the Journey Belows (getting the stealth toxin onto Auctioneer or Edwin is a healthy outcome as well).

Posted Aug 15, 2017 (Frozen Throne)Thank you for your comment. The reason why i choose to have journey below, is because 80% of the time i manage to pull out a sharazan or xandril. It also adds extra fuel to the Auctioneers and yogg. Firefly, in place swashburglars could work, but again i find the random cards to be generated usually worth more. I do think however that adding a Xandril does add tons of value, and consistency. I may include him somewhere in the deck.

Expected lots of elementals in the deck --> only found Igneous Elemental × 2.

Posted Aug 15, 2017 (Frozen Throne)Lol, I was considering making it an elemental deck, with package. But i felt since you draw your whole deck in one - two turns, its easier to manage with just 2 Igneous Elementals. In which you can get up to 4 with the DK passive.

Posted Aug 12, 2017 (Frozen Throne)Really enjoying playing this deck! I swapped out x2 Shiv for x2 Razorpetal Lashers. I felt like the deck needed the extra bodies on the field to maintain early pressure, and also for more of an effect from The Caverns Below. The petals are good enough replacements for the Shivs, when you consider them with Auctioneer.
