Piece of garbage
I swapped out one Happy Ghoul for a Gnomeferatu since i had it lying around. Works pretty well too, managed to discard a couple of Legendaries with it and have had people concede :)
Quick PSA: Don't craft anything for this deck, it's definitely gonna fall out of favor in the meta very quickly. As people have pointed out it runs out of gas way too quick against other control decks. I had some fun with it but it's just not that great. If you get board cleared after you play the DK it's pretty much game over.
I think Control Lock can DEFINITELY be a thing considering how amazing Defile is alone, but I'm predicting at this point that Lord Jaraxxus will end up being a way better finisher in these decks than the DK. I was also super impressed with how much work Tainted Zealot did in this deck...turns out a sticky Spell Damage minion is actually really damn good. Wouldn't surprise me to see this show up in lots of control decks in the future.
Overall, definitely a good experiment that started pulling in the right direction but it definitely needs some refinement. Again, don't waste your dust right now people.
Just tried this deck out. Warlock is a thing once again.
Never loose to warlock on all way rank12-rank5 with jade druid. This deck interesting to play, but I'm playing it only on unrancked for fun :)
Happy Ghoul is an insane card
To produce value over the much needed healing.
Earthen Ring Farseer + Happy Ghoul = 6/6 and 3 healing for 3 mana.
Warlock is back! At least, for now it is! Loving this list. Does well on ladder, I just seem to struggle against Priests :P
Here's a video of me playing it, hope you guys enjoy!
this deck is only good vs ungoro decks , any new deck over power it ..
Omg... don't tell them! ^^
I love this deck, its super fun to play and its excellent versus aggro and midrange. Probably have about 25 games or so with it now.
However, this deck blow against control! Specifically any deck that can get Kazakus to get the 6 damage board wipe all spell or any priest control deck (dragon, lyra, 40 hp, the 20k legendary deck etc.). hell, even a good Brawl after you resummon your demons ruins this deck.
When your versus priest, you basically have to play aggro and pray you get your happy ghouls out before they stabilize, thats like maybe a 1/4 chance to win. If you race in midrange, most of the time you'll end up close
I'm stuck on 14 right now with like a 50-55% win rate, which means this will be the slowest climb of my life.
Unlike ungoro, this time even in the 18-15 rank range, there seems to be way more control and midrange.
Highly recommend swapping to an aggro deck if you wanna climb faster, and help murder some of those priests that ruin this decks playability.
this deck is a pure regret.
The Bloodreaver Gul'dan is important to this deck as has been said before. But i think you can change The Lich King to Arcane Giant or Mountain Giant. I'm using the Arcane Giant and i think with that this deck is still very good and powerfull.
I have all the cards expect the Lich King, what can I place instead of him while I get mine?
I had a Twisting Nether lying around that seems to do ok. Haven't played enough to decide if I'll keep it.
Ysera
I got absolutely wrecked by a Bloodreaver deck that ran Krul the Unshackled along with 2 Doomguard and some other demons. He dropped Krul which pulled his Doomguards and he went face. I was playing priest and stole a Twisting Nether which I used to clear his board. He then dropped Gul'dan, brought all of his demons back and just destroyed me. I didn't stand a chance. I mean, he was probably living the dream scenario but I simply couldn't keep up, even with all of my board clear.
