I think the deck is good, I'm 9-2 so far in rank 8, but I believe it needs some tweaking, a lot of times you just have board clear in your hand and nothing to clear. Maybe add some mountain giants or twilight drakes because I usually tap a lot
Can someone who played this a lot tell me how does this perform vs Jade Druid?
With Geist it should be a different story, I wondered about the originial decklist
I play with Jade Druid and w/ jade you have to be too mutch aggro or you will lose when they play gul'dan DK
Bloodreaver Gul'dan is very usefull card, especially his hero power so powerful
Okay the problem is deck is control oriented but there is not strong finishers to end the game after you play the dk your board is filled with minions with max 6 hp and turn after you play dk they simply die and you left with bunch of board clears etc but you never get board presence again.
The whole point of the deck is to bait out all removal and board clears before playing Bloodreaver Gul'dan. Until then, you are not really concerned with doing any damage to your opponent. You are simply controlling the board, while getting your demons on board. They will have to deal with your demons and will have to use removal to do so. You get in some face damage with your demons when you can and do damage with their aoes, but that is not the top priority. Baiting out removal is. Once you have exhausted their removals and you have a board full of demons to bring back, then you play the DK.
This deck is bad against Jade... obviously
deck is just pure poop,no offence jackie but unplayable...
Priest is second worst match-up
If they somehow manage to kill all your 6/6
DK priest kill everything
only if Blizzard understand Dislock will never become a thing and stop try to do that since last expansion
Warlock will be better
We need card like the Mal'ganis again (perfect example for everything warlock need)
You're absolutely right. Dropping Bloodreaver you basically need to be somehow "safe" on the board in a late game scenario which is extremely rare.
This deck is insane 16-2. you beat kazakus priest with Despicable Dreadlord EZ Warlock EZ Demons EZ !
Do you guys have any tips for this deck? Im kinda new here.
thanks for da tips.
Not sure why people keep upvoting this deck.
HOW TO BURN YOUR FACE 4.0
Can't play 6/6 demon because it help your opponent kill you faster
Beat this Deck 4 Times in a row with Kazakus Priest
Great deck, so great I'm making my first post about it. I'm on a 16-4 run with it, got me from rank 15 to 10 today, in this crazy up-in-the-air meta. I agree with a few posts on here that the original version of the deck lacks some heavy late-game staying power... if a control priest or taunt druid can manage to trade with you midgame and has an answer for your "nzoth" demon play (*cough* Shadowreaper Anduin), you run out of steam.
Meanwhile, I feel like the Happy Ghoul x2 is a bit unnecessary... cool effect that synergizes well with the heals, but the whole point of them in the deck is for extreme tempo early turns to help against aggro... except we don't really need help against aggro. The deck is loaded with AOE, especially when you get the hang of the Tainted Zealot Defile combo to trigger 5-6 damage aoes. The deck is also peppered with early heals and spot removal, so another 3/3 for free is just overdoing it.
Hence my changes... -2 Happy Ghoul +1 Lord Jaraxxus +1 Blastcrystal Potion
This gives you more late staying power. That's a third hard removal with no down side on turn 10+. And usually when you drop Jaraxxus they have to go hard to counter your constant 6/6 drops, which means they tend to run out of steam right around when you finally play Bloodreaver Gul'dan. They also tend to smell blood and overextend when you drop Jaraxxus, due to your low health, but the Gul'dan play bolsters you back up and fills your board with Jaraxxus infernals as well.
Because of that, I've entertained dropping the Dread Infernal x2 but I'm not sure how I'd fill the spot. Sometimes you don't pull Jaraxxus and you have to play Bloodreaver, and without the Dreads it's a weaker play.
TLDR Awesome deck, works great, I made some slight personal edits to counter the heavy control meta we seem to be shifting into.
I like your techs, sir.
Lord Jaraxxus is necessary both for strengthening the late game, and for having an alternative condition for victory.
As for the Dread Infernal x2, I think that one of them can be replaced by Yogg-Saron, Hope's End (why not? A lot of spells, an additional win-condition).
As for the second - I was thinking about Kabal Trafficker or Bane of Doom. But the second replacement is not so relevant, I think.
But I'm sure that these infernals are not so strong - we really have a lot of AoE damage, and 6/6 for 6 is not so much. As for the fact that these are demons, this is not essential. It may even make sense to add Doomguard with a charge or even Leeroy Jenkins as a finisher. However, the discard of 2 cards is a very serious loss for this deck, so for the time being I stopped at Leeroy Jenkins.
I look forward to your reply.
