My strategy for Heroic Patchwerk consisted of three concepts:
- Make him draw cards and get fatigue damage;
- Put out lots of taunts to both absorb some of the damage from Patchwerk's attacks and damage him in turn; and
- Throw in some heals to help me last to the point where elements 1 and 2 of the strategy put Patchewerk down.
I selected a druid primarily because of Naturalize which makes Patchwerk draw two cards. Note: In order to use Naturalize you must destroy your own minion.
I used the following cards to force Patchwerk to draw cards and thus inflict fatigue damage:
- Naturalize (mentioned above as the main reason I went with a Druid for this fight);
- Coldlight Oracle; and
- Dancing Swords
If you are able to play all 6 of these cards, they will force Patchwerk to draw 10 cards. This means you have the potential to deal Patchwerk 55 points of fatigue damage.
I actually finished Patchwerk off by playing a Coldlight Oracle and then immediately destroying him with Naturalize. In my case this forced Patchwerk to draw his 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th cards and delivered 22 points of fatigue damage.
I found that the 6+ mana cards were rarely used and would consider replacing them with additional low level taunts.

One-shotted him with a variant of this using updated cards. Annoy-o-Tron is king, eating an entire turn of his attacks. Patchwerk died on turn five after my second consecutive turn of Naturalizing an Oracle. Nine cards = 45 damage, and that was 8 forced draws in two turns.
