Miracle rogue is back thanks to one good rogue card (let's face it.. really the one and only) in the new expansion. REMEMBER TO SUB/TECH FOR YOUR META. READ THE SUB/TECH SECTION BELOW!
Thanks for all the support guys! Let's keep this crazy fun deck going!
Tier prediction: Tier 2
Takes a good bit of thought and skill to play, if you've played miracle before you'll be right at home. The deck plays like your old school miracle rogue with a different finisher. You keep control of the board until you can get your Gadgetzan Auctioneer out and draw, then push into Valeera the Hollow late game and copy your Arcane Giants for super cheap and make two nice fat Edwin VanCleefs. Shadow Reflections work amazingly well with a lot of the random class cards you'll be getting at the same time.
I'll have some new vids up soon for meta match ups. Also if you want to see some more professional play check out the vids below!
As usual more up votes, more detail AND VIDS!
Up votes:
10: Full mulligan guide and my pilot video
25: Tech choices/substitutions vs. current meta (will get updated over the next couple weeks as the meta develops)
50: 'Most' meta match up videos w/ detailed play style explanations (more vids coming soon!)
Mulligan Guide:
Always keep 1x Swashburglar, 1x Backstab, 1x Undercity Huckster.
Consider keeping Eviscerate, Shaku, the Collector, Razorpetal Lasher, Bloodmage Thalnos (if you have early spell synergy.) The only way I keep Edwin VanCleef is if I have exactly the right mix of Counterfeit Coin (or The Coin,) Backstab and Swashburglar.
General Subs/Tech:
Aggro Heavy: -2x Sap +2x Tar Creeper
-1x Leeroy Jenkins +1x Fan of Knives
Control Heavy: -1x Sap +1x Lilian Voss OR Sherazin, Corpse Flower
-1x Fan of Knives +1x Vilespine Slayer (Consider replacing a Shadow Strike for a second Vilespine if you're hitting all control.)
Additional pwners spotlights:
Comments/questions welcomed and will be answered below
I stil believe in Doomerang + Shadowblade combo
Replace Shaku with SI7 Agent and Patches with Bladed Cultist.
I'm not great with Rogue but I really do enjoy playing it because of some of the shenanigans that happen with this class. There was a game where I stole the Warlock DK from my opponent and I became a Warlock using Rogue Cards (Sadly I wasn't recording this match as it was the first one I played with the deck)
I lost the game, but I enjoyed myself a lot! If you want to play a fun deck that can still win, I think this is one of them.
Once you start getting to higher ranks you can just start subbing cards for what the meta is asking for at that particular time if you want to grind this deck to Legend.
I'll post a video of me using the deck to play against Druid and 2 Mages so you guys can see more gameplay action.
Anyways, nice deck and thanks for sharing :)
Posted this on a post above but wanted to make it a separate comment!
Hey! Not that great with the new rogue but consistently been legend etc and only play Rogue, managed to hit rank 5 with a list similar to this one!
A few of the changes are similar to the ones listed below, -2 undercity -2 Shadow Strike +2 SI7 +2 Vilespine, the thing is the deck needs to make it to late game with no healing, and the Hucksters are just kind of fish out of water here. It isnt burgle rogue, it isnt a deathrattle set, there are already so many 2 cost cards and a 2/2 is so little board presence just to get a random spell. The problem is it has so little tempo, and with so many spells if you dont have auctioneer you just lose. SI7 and Vilespine are both removal plus bodies (most things by turn 3 dont have much more than 2 health / 3 + weapon swing). They help keep the board clear and even out the curve a bit (it has too many early cards for having so many expensive cards and no healing), Huckster has to be replaced with something that offers board control on play, and shadow strike is great in a lot of situations but against every class but hunter there are minions with more than 5 health that need to be removed, where vilespine comes in.
A big big game changer for me has been running Vanish. It lets you set up Valeera the hollow care free, you drop it and gain stealth, the enemy can setup as much as they want, then just reset the board with vanish (even if it doesnt reset its great in most situations since most cards this patch drop so many random minions @ filling the enemy Guldan / Thralls hand with 6+ cost minions)
I also run Sherazin over Shaku since there are no other 4 cost cards and SI7 fills the curve for 3's, and when it works its nice to drop Sherazin after Valeera, as keeping 2 up is incredibly easy with Hollows passive.
Basic strategy is just keep board control until you can cycle for Valeera + Giant / Vancleef combo. A big mistake a lot of people making is blowing all of the steam in one turn, if you have 2 giants and VanCleef in hand, play them over 3 turns to get the max value, these are your finisher cards, once theyre gone its hard for the deck to come back, but theres little that 4 Giants and 2 VanCleefs lose to!!!
What card did you replace with Vanish?
I've put Vanish in my Miracle deck as well, and I've found it particularly useful against Token decks, particularly Evolve Shaman. Sending all of those evolved minions back into the Shaman's hand really screws with their gameplan.
I dropped Leeroy for vanish. I just felt that it didnt pull its weight, when its in your hand its 12 dmg for 10 mana, but you end up playing around taunts, and if its vs aggro Valeera The Hollow can play the long game and doesnt need the charge. Its amazing in the deck but personally it never had a clutch moment where i was like "i would have lost without this card." It more or less felt like "man that made the win a few turns quicker."
Ive been playing Miracle rogue for a while, even before thsi expansion so im very familliar with its playing style, but somehow, with this deck i cannot get past rank 14. It needs more tempo, and lacks in removal.
Any thoughts on what am i doing wrong?
Whats ur best rank with this deck?
Thanks in advance

What replacement for Shaku, the Collector.
Lillian or sherazin
I love playing Mill Rogue but this deck list just aint for me, im using the old skool list and its doing great, just added the new valeera dk .
works pritty sollid, this list is just fancy whit some stuff but it has nothing to do whit your game plan
This isn't a "Mill Rouge" deck :P
Don't have Valeera... Feelsbadman
Enthusiasm in your voice is riveting, bro
- Would just like to add that Leeroy Jenkins works very well with rogue DK. I mean, its 10 mana deal 12 damage to finish them off :) try it if you dont believe me
-1 shadow strike +1 leeroy
Not doing that well with this one, as I'm missing Shaku and Patches, but I've had some pretty absurd situations come up. Ended up with three Jaraxxus in one hand. Did not win that game.
What about Lilian Voss? Could be great if your auctioneers are at the bottom of your deck and you have no time to wait for them anymore. Play lilian voss and at least get a chance to convert the spells into something usefull.
I can certainly appreciate people crafting a deck and taking a risk posting it so early in an expansion. But to predict this deck to be Tier 1 or high Tier 2?!?!? Are you on drugs?!?? This is a mediocre deck. It will be destroyed by aggro and midrange. With a great card draw, it has a chance against some control decks like priest - probably need some removal though. It will have trouble against mage, since you will be running deep into your deck, which means the mage will get deep into his deck. He will be able to stall you and set up his infinite fireball play. This is Tier 3 at best.
Something I never understood about this site. People copy an existing deck. Add 1 new card to it and it gets a ton of upvotes, haha. Pathetic.
