Miracle rogue is back thanks to one good rogue card (let's face it.. really the one and only) in the new expansion. REMEMBER TO SUB/TECH FOR YOUR META. READ THE SUB/TECH SECTION BELOW!
Thanks for all the support guys! Let's keep this crazy fun deck going!
Tier prediction: Tier 2
Takes a good bit of thought and skill to play, if you've played miracle before you'll be right at home. The deck plays like your old school miracle rogue with a different finisher. You keep control of the board until you can get your Gadgetzan Auctioneer out and draw, then push into Valeera the Hollow late game and copy your Arcane Giants for super cheap and make two nice fat Edwin VanCleefs. Shadow Reflections work amazingly well with a lot of the random class cards you'll be getting at the same time.
I'll have some new vids up soon for meta match ups. Also if you want to see some more professional play check out the vids below!
As usual more up votes, more detail AND VIDS!
Up votes:
10: Full mulligan guide and my pilot video
25: Tech choices/substitutions vs. current meta (will get updated over the next couple weeks as the meta develops)
50: 'Most' meta match up videos w/ detailed play style explanations (more vids coming soon!)
Mulligan Guide:
Always keep 1x Swashburglar, 1x Backstab, 1x Undercity Huckster.
Consider keeping Eviscerate, Shaku, the Collector, Razorpetal Lasher, Bloodmage Thalnos (if you have early spell synergy.) The only way I keep Edwin VanCleef is if I have exactly the right mix of Counterfeit Coin (or The Coin,) Backstab and Swashburglar.
General Subs/Tech:
Aggro Heavy: -2x Sap +2x Tar Creeper
-1x Leeroy Jenkins +1x Fan of Knives
Control Heavy: -1x Sap +1x Lilian Voss OR Sherazin, Corpse Flower
-1x Fan of Knives +1x Vilespine Slayer (Consider replacing a Shadow Strike for a second Vilespine if you're hitting all control.)
Additional pwners spotlights:
Comments/questions welcomed and will be answered below
ok,swapped shaku with sherazin and i am 7-1 atm
I just can't see why this deck has high rating while being below average.sorry...
Looks good if you can get Valeera and Swashburgler from Adventure :)
Hey Dude. Have you tried playing [card]

Spectral Pillager

[/card] in this deck. I supose it might be preety playable. What do you think about it?
20ish games.
Works pretty bad guys.
Most of the decks from him doesnt really work..
So, beware of it. As you guys see, the video clip doenst show any common or lets say even start....
Can Shaku be replaced with Sherazin?
Can somebody tell me why Lilian Voss is a valid trade here?
Vilespine x2 or bust
drop both saps for them
Hello guys, it is Kadak here and I am so glad I am able to play this deck.. I got my DK rogue from the lich king prologue <3 He knows my hearth and what I love most :D
Before I started playing I teched hard against aggro according to the guide and I was kinda rewarded for it (which is something I did not really expect lul). I was matched against a DK control warrior which led to the fatigue! Really interesting match and I have to say I was kinda exhausted after it and had no idea if I win.
Check it out! If you see some plays you would do differently let me know! I am happy for any kind of feed back :)
Thinking about crafting Leeroy and replacing Shaku with Prince Val since I only have the dust for one leg. Well, two if I turn a golden "Beast" legendary into dust.
Thoughts?
I would dust the Beast but that's me. I also dusted golden leeroy because I wasn't using him but now I don't have one for this deck :(
replacement for Shaku, the Collector and Patches the Pirate ?
any replacements for swash and arcane?
Hey it's a bit late but I made a video showing the Malygos/Razorpetal interaction pretty well!
Liking this deck so far! I don't have Shaku or Patches, but following suggestions from the guide and comments I've swapped those out for a Bladed Cultist and an SI:7. With a few tech changes (1x Vilespine for example) I've managed to do pretty decently so far. Played 2 games off-ladder, both of which I won easily and being a scrub who's not played much (if any) hearthstone over the last few months I was quite pleased to win 2/3 ranked games at rank 19 as well.
I seem to have the most mixed bag of luck too though... one game against a token/ evolve shaman BOTH Gadgetzans and BOTH Giants end up at the bottom of my deck. Next game I get some really sweet draws to set up a turn 6 gadgetzan and have gone through most of my deck by turn 8, 6 cards in hand and 2x 1 mana giants on my board! (Opponent conceded before I got to slam them in his face, FeelsBadMan)
So yeh, basically, the deck seems solid enough if you keep your cards close and don't just thrown them all away as easy answers to the opponents moves. Just gotta hope you don't run into the nightmare of no Gadgetzans/ Giants, which leaves one somewhat starved for cards or dead before you can get them.
This deck doesn't work well verses a DK Mage deck.. [card]Arcane Giant × 3 [/card] were frozen.. then next turn Fireball to the face..
No offense here, but tried your deck on both ranked and casual play a total of over 40 games.
This deck is shit most of the time.
It takes too much damage in a very short time and by the time you get to your win condition you have too little life to actually make a difference If you somehow thing this deck gets you beyond rank 15 go ahead, but my 40+ matches say otherwise. This deck needs heal and draw.
You get your win condition too f*king late to actually matter or you don't get it at all.
So right. I mean, the deck is fun to play. But tier 1?!? No way. I see he's now backtracked and called it tier 2. Lol! This deck is fine at rank 15+ I guess, but let's try and be realistic here. It's maybe a tier 3 deck at best. Nothing against the efforts from the creator of the deck, but Miracle Rogue just isn't strong right now.
I'm rank 12 with a very similar deck (the Miracle DK rogue with Prince) and it's very hard to play. I am just now starting to get good at it and I've played a ton of games.
You REALLY need to have 0 misplays and know your opponent. I use Quest Adventurer sometimes to draw out clearing cards (have to know that a Druid with have +4 damage play in early game) or play risky and buff him quickly. If you get lucky and draw Edwin early and have a coin, you can drop Edwin on play 2 with 8/8 or 10/10 depending on your hand. But when you don't get lucky, you have to be prepared to go a few rounds without doing anything and wasting mana. I find that whenever I am able to proc draws with Auctioneer -- I generally win. Even if I have 0-1 minions down.
I will say the deck can be unreliable but sometimes it's just your fault for losing. For example; against a Jade druid just now I got him to 2 health but I misplayed my Autioneer and would have drawn an Evisc to finish the game. Instead, he played an Auctioneer he stole from me, drew until he was unbeatable with armor and all. There's plenty of misplay examples like this.
You can make the deck more reliable but it's never going to be like the Paladin deck.
