After trying numerous times with this deck and testing other decks unsuccessfully, i found a deck on which managed to win in the second attempt:

I do not know if there is something between the rules prohibiting mention other decks, but with this deck above managed to win in the second attempt ... Hope it helps!

Use BGH instead of one Dancing Swords. I've beaten him on the second try. Good deck ;)

This deck does not work. The main problem is the beginning: Stalagg and Feugen do so much damage, by the time they are dead, I'm dead too and that's about turn 6 in the very best case.

Awesome deck! just took me a couple tries, not more than 10 minutes, thanks! upvoted this deck since i saw many downvotes, i dont get why just took me like 5 tries or less

I have modified this deck, removing certain secrets and leaving only the Ice  Barriers: 

The idea is having a Mana Wyrm on the first turn, as plus Fireblast it can take out Stalagg, then the rest is holding the enemy until you can clean the board and counterattack. The 2x Kobold Geomancers are intended to boost the arcane explosion, but they could also be replaced by Ironbeak Owls.

This deck fails so hard..tried countless time..i ended up switching to the pally deck...took 3 tries

Could not make this deck work, WAY too reliant on a perfect mulligan.  Shouldn't be under the heroic guides.

Both decks suggest by Vargâs did not work for me after many attempts I just gave up.

After trying with a couple other decks I got it first try using this one. I don't think it should be rated this low.

I'm in agreement with others. A good deck is not a one trick pony, and seemingly that is what this deck is. It relies so heavily on getting the right cards at the right time. That's not a good thing, that's a luck thing.

I've breezed through the other bosses with other decks. They were easy because the deck was tested and tailored for a particular strategy (vs seemingly, what this deck relies on, pure luck).

I appreciate the guide and deck submission, but I do not understand why this deck is highlighted as a good deck against Thad. It doesn't have the up votes nor does it have the reliability that makes a good deck, good.

took a little while but eventually got the win. vaporize instead of duplicates helped a lot

I took the suggestion of a few others and replaced the Duplicates with Vaporize. They helped me knock off a 4/4 and 4/6 at crucial points, eventually allowing me to gain full board control and stabilize my health with ice barrier.

I did get lucky twice with the egg/sword combo to start the game, but even then it's not a guaranteed win.

got the other bosses with your decks, couldn't get this one though (20+ tries)

early game is just too aggressive

at last got it now, if you can get far enough to flamestrike it can be done.

I got duplicate on a Thadius and it was pretty easy from that point.

It took me a bunch of tries to get this deck to work but for a F2P deck this does set a good foundation of how you should build your deck. If you're still having trouble try to use vaporize, you could replace the duplicates with it but in my case I only had one so I kept my other duplicate but having 2 vaporizes can really stop the early aggression. I got lucky my turn 2 Mad Scientist was able to bring out my only vaporize in deck and killed Feugen right away.
