At the start of his rounds Thaddius uses an ability to swap every minions HP and ATK.
He drops Feugen and Stalagg in turn 1.
Good cards for mulligan:
Innervate, Big Game Hunter, Naturalize, Swipe and Nerubian Egg, because if he uses his ability next turn you get the 4/4 Nerubian and can kill his 7/4, if not already done. Poison Seeds + Innervate is a good Turn 2 play as well.
Use this cards to get Feugen and Stalagg down asap! Later than turn 3-4 and you can restart.
A small hint:
Run Stalagg and Feugen by yourself, because Thaddius wont get the 11/11 Thaddius Minion after you have killed them, even if you have not silenced them, BUT if you play one of them and just 1 dies on your side, YOU get Thaddius.
Please note: I tries to keep the deck very classic, so new players WON'T NEED GvG/Tournament/Explorers League and so on, just Naxxcards you can get earlier and classic/basiccards.
If you have further Questions for cardchoices or suggestions for improvements, just comment.
And if you still struggle with it, watch the Videotutorial from Matt_Sparks, just scroll a bit down ;)

Good luck trying and if this Guide helped you I would be glad, if you give it an upvote! THX
Downed him 2nd try. Didn't have enough dust to make Big Game Hunter, AoL or FoN. Just subbed in some minions I thought would help. Mostly the same. Naturalize on turn two and then Innervate on turn 3 and playing Stalaag is what wins
3-4 try I got him. had very lucky beggining hand (2xInnervate+egg) Turn One played Innervate and Egg, then Turn 2 got Naturalize so killed both Feugen and Stalagg on TUrn 2 (30hp)
This isn't budget..
Got it on the 2nd try. Thanks!
Thanks for the deck, crushed it first try! I used Naturalize on turn one to kill feugen. I used innervate on turn three to summon feugen, and killed stalagg the next turn to summon Thaddius. Used Thaddius to clear the board and summoned stalagg on turn 5. Threw stalagg into anything he summoned to clear the way for a second thaddius and used him along with a druid of the claw on turn 6 and and a sun walker on turn 7 for the kill shot. I was down to 6 health at one point but was able to take down three zombie chows and used a healing touch which got me back to a safe level.
Key for me was to get rid of his Feugen and Stalagg and get mine on the board as soon as possible (BGH, Swipe, Naturalize, N Egg) Mulligan or first draws for Innervate are essential. Got lucky with Stampending Kodo and killed a Zombie Chow (vs a Nerubian Egg) but would have survived without the heal in the end.
I was missing some cards so I subbed with Mark of the Wild turning my Feugen (or Stalagg) into a cheap taunt and drawing out my Thaddii sooner. Buffing with MoW made my Feugen (or Stalagg) and Thaddius hard for the boss to kill my taunts. The rest of the substitutions were never played except a Frostwolf Grunt of little significance towards the end.
Got him very easily on my first real attempt (restarted a couple of times for a good starting hand).
Only thing to keep in mind, if possible, kill the high health targets (especially when using Naturalize), since those will be the heavy hitters his next turn.
Worked on first try without all the cards. Here was my deck:
Beat him in 2 tries, did swap out 1 Big Game Hunter for Faceless Manipulator as i didn't have 2 Big Game Hunter which turned out for a funny win as i ended with somehow getting 3 Thaddius on the board
worked at first try. Many thanks!
You absolutely must play Innervate + Poison Seeds on turn 2.
If you can't, just concede and try again; you'll be dead on turn 4 (5 if you're lucky).
After that it's still pure luck to win with this deck.
Another pure luck deck. 10 games with appropriate mulligans...haven't even gotten close. Yes, I know, I must suck...etc, etc, etc.
This worked great! Besides Big Game Hunter, which is an obvious, but still great, idea, just being able to innervate Feugen or Stalagg gave me the time I needed to control the board. Thanks!
This deck worked for me too. After a half dozen or so concessions to bad starting hands I was able to mulligan my way into swipe, naturalize and innervate with another innervate on my first draw. BAM! I waved goodbye to Stalagg and Feugen and they never laid a mitten on me. I will NEVER get that lucky EVER again.
I think everyone that said they killed him on first try is just plain lying. Deck is good. But bunch of people killing it on first try. Yeah, no. I'm on my like 15th try atm and it's still not gonna happen.
You can downvote all you want but still chance to kill it on first try are lol low.
Worked for me 3rd try thanks alot!
Thank you SO much for this deck. I tried and tried a warlock deck. I think I tried about 15x because other people were raving about it in the comments but I honestly just couldn't get anywhere with the deck. Unsure if it's due to my play style or the fact that it's too rng based or not. As soon as I tried this deck though, I got it on the second try. Thanks again! (:
Thank you!
Great deck, ended up killing Thaddius with Thaddius. And one-shotted as usual with this guys decks ;)
We're at attempt 7 and I'm completely convinced this deck is unusable. At no point have I managed to get ahead or deal more than 2 points of damage with it. Absolutely worthless.
