Just a fun deck that tries to keep the game going, until you have drawn your combo. Auctionmaster Beardo plus two coins, that you got from Burgly Bully, + a 1 mana card you got from either Hydrologist or Ivory Knight, and combined with the hero power from Uther of the Ebon Blade, will win you the game.
Thanks to kiwiinbacon for making a Showcasevideo about my deck.
The first Paladin deck without Tirion in the world
hmm.. many aggro paladins don't run Tirion
True. I'm assuming this deck doesn't run Tirion for 2 reasons.
1. Lots of weapons floating. We don't want to be in a position where we can't fight for board control effectively because we have to replace a weapon we already have or because Tirion might break the weapon we get from Uther of the Ebon Blade because we're trying to stave off damage.
2. Because we're strictly Exodia Pally, the draw 3, heal 8 of Lay on Hands seems more relevant since we're digging for combo pieces.
I personally think Tirion still has a place in here but I can see how Tirion plus Uther could put you in awkward situations. Only time will tell if the two of them won't clash as much as people seem to think.
what about this?
Very nice deck man. Do you think one ivory could be swapped for a blackguard. I haven't seen that guy put in ANY theorycraft control decks or any decks for that matter. It also synergizes better with the DK pally hero deseyoneeee.
Yes, I can. I also think that one Blackguard will be good with this deck. :D
Thank You.
That is a very good idea, I could see [card]Blackguard[/card], replace 1 or even both [card]Ivory Knight[/card], im gonna test that, when KFT is out
Uhm, 1st day here and I wanted to reply to Zilean. How the hell does it work?
I made a theorycraft deck based on Blackguard. Still have some doubts about it and I need some feedback. Feel free to check XD
Deck
Looking forward to seeing it :D.
Looks too slow with a lot of low valued and/or really dangerous-to-play cards included. I think this deck will have about 30%- of winrate aganist classic pirate, for example. For acquiring 10th rank this deck is kinda ok. But i don't see this deck's future (i mean exactly your variation - not all archetype).
I did some changes. Replaced Bolvar, Fireblood, The Lich King and one Forbidden Healing for Harrison Jones, Elise the Trailblazer and Sunkeeper Tarim. Still not sure what to do about Righteous Protector.
Here's a wild version I created, more cycle to get the combo faster.
Deck is invalid - Emperor Thaurissan and Solemn Vigil have been removed.
It's a Wild deck tho...
I would drop blessing and add in more survivability or other cycle, because I feel like blessing is meh. Not sure why everyone is dwonvoting this post til it got hidden.
I think you can just play bounce effect
so the hero power work like shaman totem.
so you keep bounce to keep each unique guy (you don't have yet) from hero power.
when you got 3 of them.
just play them all and hero power again
*emote*
The one problem there is that the combo takes a lot longer to pull off overall, since you have to constantly hero power over several turns and hope that you get good RNG and get each individual Horseman. Also, you have to run some pretty mediocre cards like Ancient Brewmaster for the combo to work.
I've came up with this for standard, it's based on the same idea, It's flexible and I think has a potential. There's an in-depth guide too.
No one has an IQ of < 195 so I'm pretty sure this only works if the deck doesn't become popular. IF IT DOES, then people will just do what they did when Exodia mage became popular....PLAY AROUND IT BY USING THEIR BRAIN AND NOT CASTING SPELLS. Man, caps lock sure is undervalued these days. I mean what's wrong in valuing the meaning of words by interpreting their size font and not by what the words actually mean.
Caps lock has the unfortunate side effect of coming off more aggressive than the user intended. Psychologically synonymous with outrage; if anything, it's overvalued these days. Thoughts that are typically depicted in caps lock are often trying to appear especially significant, and are usually more adequately expressed through other texting techniques, such as bold, italics, underscore, and a personal favorite of mine:
White space.
There are also other techniques you could use that are less commonplace, but still largely effective at conveying significance. You could use -hyphens- to single out an important phrase or clause, or you could try this: a colon. Caps lock is an inefficient communication technique that leads to more misunderstandings than connections, and the main reason it is seen so often is because the user doesn't consider\isn't aware of other possible substitutes, or they are too fixated on the sound of their own reading voice to think about how an audience might interpret their writing. Regardless, better techniques exist. To learn more about how to better improve your communication skills, watch the following video:
