The idea of the deck is to win by taking away your opponents resources, and building a board before he can recover. Against aggro your gameplan is to boardclear and tarblock until they ragequit, against control, you have a more..... peculiar approach.

The main idea is to wait until they have a minion with 3 health left (can be archieved by mortal coiling a 4 health minion, or trade a tar into one) then proceed with the following combo: Summon Possessed Villager and Howlfiend then cast Treachery on said Howlfiend, cast Defile and watch the horror unfold:

You will flamestrike your opponents board, discarding 4 cards from his hand in the process, and if they just happen to have a 4 health minion as well, thats an extra card, a 5 health minion or a Mortal Coil on top of that, you more than likely fullcleared and ate your 6 cards out of your opponents hand.

Of course a 4 card combo will raise the consistency question, but i have got you covered on that: We are playing a Bloomdoom core, with coils and lifetap for extra draws, so against a control deck you should have no trouble whatsoever assembling your pieces. And Chittering Tunneler also has a chance to discover one of the spells.

This idea will more than likely need some finetuning, so if you have suggestions on how to improve the matchups or consistency of it, i'd be more than happy to hear them.

Thank you for your time.

Edit: Swapped the Arcane Giants for more reliable finishers in Medivh, the Guardian and Alexstrasza

Edit, the second: I really would to like to include Despicable Dreadlord somehow, since he seems like an excellent setup minion for 1 extra damage and an all around decent control minion, but i don't quite know what to cut for it without hurting the decks anti aggro/clear consistency too much. Do you have any ideas?

Edit, the third: Swapped a Doomsayer for Lord Jaraxxus, due to haing trouble against completely reactive opponents otherwise.

Edit, the fourth: This is a controversial one and i am not sure whether this makes the deck better or worse. Due to having trouble against Mage and lacking good single target removal in case a passive deck survives your discards, i deemed Bloodreaver Gul'dan to be better than Lord Jaraxxus for this deck. However, worthwhile demons that help this deck are hard to come by.

The only feasable one is Voidwalker which also serves the purpose of being a 1 mana 3 health minion for the combo if your opponent refuses to play anything. However the question was what to cut here.

The worst card in here is clearly Corrupting Mist, however i still firmly believe that this deck lives and dies by the amount of boardclears it can bring to the table in the early game, so these were no go.

Next up were the Tar Lurkers, which are arguably worse than most other cards in here. However, you need a way to lock the game down after a clear, or buy time in order to set a Defile at least against opponents who know how to play around stuff.

You could cut the Mistress of Mixtures but then you lose out on your only real healing until turn 10, which is not great especially against pirates or hunter.

So, i made a compromise of cutting 1x Mistress of Mixtures 1x Tar Lurker for the Voidwalkers and replaced Lord Jaraxxus with Bloodreaver Gul'dan. So especially now, if you have suggestions on what to cut instead of these defensive cards, i'd be more than happy to read and discuss them. Thanks in advance.

Edit, the last:  After trying for several days, i could not quite make it work. The combo worked fine, but it was either not enough, or i would be too pressured to be able to use it. However the deck underwent some changes that made it somewhat playable, albeit still a bit weak while at the same time really tough to play correctly: - 2 Mortal Coil, - 1 Corrupting Mist, -1 Chittering Tunneler, -1 Tar Creeper, -1 Tar Lurker, - Medivh, the Guardian; +1 Doomsayer +2 Stonehill Defender, + 2 Bloodworm, + The Lich King, + Lord Jaraxxus. Your best matchups are aggro druid/Bloodlust Shaman, while you are getting destroyed by really greedy decks and agressive mages or hunters. If you feel like surprising your opponent and being rewarded for a gamelong setup by removing all his winconditions, give this deck a try. Otherwise I'd go for a different warlock deck, my current deck uses the discard combo as a tech for questmages and paladins

Thank you for your time and advices on this one, and if you want to try and make it work better than i could, feel free to do so. Have a nice time.
