Description
Hi, I want to share my experience of taking Legend. If you like to play around the AOE with a lot of Deathrattles you will like this version of Jade Rogue. I think that Rogue is the strongest Jade class of three in Un'Goro.
Explanation
This deck is good against the decks that are fighting for the board. The main idea of the deck is that you can destroy the enemy's minion and create your minion in one turn.
The deck is based on three key cards:
- Jade Shuriken at the beginning of the game can destroy the enemy minion and create your minion. In the middle of the game, you can use it to create a large Jade.
- The deck is built around Mimic Pod. You want to get almost any card of the deck in two copies. It will be very good if you get the following cards from it: Journey Below, Swashburglar, Jade Shuriken, Jade Swarmer, Jade Spirit, Vilespine Slayer, Aya Blackpaw and N'Zoth, the Corruptor xD. It's also good to get in two copies any cards that are cheaper on mana to keep up with the pace of the game.
- Shadowcaster. It is very important not to lose the pace of the game. Shadowcaster, unlike the Shadowstep, does not return your minion to the hand, but creates a 1-1 copy of it. For a Rogue, this is very good, because you are creating another card to activate a Combo cards. These cards you want to copy: Mistress of Mixtures, Swashburglar, Bloodmage Thalnos, Kobold Geomancer, Jade Swarmer, Jade Spirit, Vilespine Slayer, Aya Blackpaw and N'Zoth, the Corruptor.
Match-ups (season June 2017)
- Paladin. This deck easily destroys any version of the Paladin. WR - 83%
- Priest. This deck easily destroys all types of priests, except Purify Priest. Against Purify Priest, try to pump your Jade as quickly as possible to control the table. Or you can find your Vilespine Slayer and kill with it any enemy minion. Do not forget play arround Potion of Madness.
- Shaman. This deck plays well against any type of shaman. Against the Token Shaman, try to increase your board before the combination of Doppelgangster + Evolve. Do not forget to play from Devolve - do not play too many minions with Deathrattle.
- Hunter. This deck plays well against Hunters.
- Druid. This deck plays well against Jade Druid and Ramp Druid. Very well if you could copy the Aya Blackpaw or find it with a Journey Below. Against Aggro Druid, this deck plays poorly. The combination of Bloodmage Thalnos + Fan of Knives or Kobold Geomancer + Fan of Knives slightly improves the situation.
- Warrior. This deck plays well against the Taunt Warrior. Against Pirate Warrior this deck plays badly. 30 xp is quite small =(
- Mage. This deck plays not bad against the Secret Mage. It's easy to check the secrets with cheap spells and minions. Against Control Mage and Freeze Mage this deck plays very bad. Try to break through the Ice Block before the opponent finds Alexstrasza.
- Rogue. This deck plays not bad against the Miracle Rogue. Against Quest Rogue this deck plays very bad.

Acknowledgements + Replacements
Thank you guys for supporting this deck! Your comments with replacements are very interesting. You convinced me that against Pirate Warrior and Aggro Druid it is necessary to add Taunts in the deck. Your replacement Southsea Deckhand by Spiritsinger Umbra is very good. I also like to play Shaku, the Collector against control decks.
I think when you make replacements in the deck it becomes more fun to play!

"3. Except against token druids, is it really necessary a Kobold Geomancer to be kept in this deck for the Fan of Knives combo?"
You can hold it sometimes against Token Shaman and Murloc Paladin. if you have Backstab and Jade Shuriken with this combo, you can clean strong board.
If you hold Jade Swarmer to do this combo, you will do a big mistake. So it's a bad combo!
if I drew Umbra by turn 5 having swarmer in hand, of course, i will hold it for the next turn cause on the next turn I will have jade sawrmer intact + jade golem, vs just jade swarmer in attack position if i'd played it on 5. And every time I draw jade swarmer post turn 6 with umbra in hand is a win. Also I can double heal with mistress as well sometimes. Umbra is a valid target for shadowcaster too.
Absolutely love this deck! So many cool win conditions, once I won after my 4th or 5th N'Zoth:P.
I swapped out the Kobold Geomancer for an Eater of Secrets to deal with mages. Rank 9 now;)
I don't know who wrote these numbers. I also wonder what they mean xD My winrate is shown in the description of the deck.
If I recall correctly I believe I remember reading somewhere that they use the inn keeper tracker for determining the win rate (54.7) accross players who use this deck and the 9 turns is the average amount of turns it takes to win a game. So some games roll quick and end turn 5 others play longer sometimes but very rarely to fatigue.
I could be wrong but that's what I remember being discussed about it at one point.
First, welcome back.
At the moment it's only on the front page deck widgets. They want to add the stats to more places such as the deck pages.
Found the post where Flux explains it a little more in depth here;

-2x Journey Below + 2x Hallucination and -2x Shadowcaster +2x Shadowstep are what I would suggest. Congrats !
Journey Below works with Nzoth. As for Shadowcaster: "Shadowcaster, unlike the Shadowstep, does not return your minion to the hand, but creates a 1-1 copy of it. For a Rogue, this is very good, because you are creating another card to activate a Combo cards. " (said in the description of the deck)
The point of Shadowcaster was to discount minions with extremely high cost and very strong abilities see: Ragnaros the Firelord , Blade of C'Thun , Reno Jackson etc, so back when those cards were still in the standard pool it was worth including in standard decks since the cost that you paid for summoning Shadowcaster was justified. Here you are paying 5 cost for these potential discounts :
a) Mistress of Mixtures (No discount) vs 1 cost less with Shadowstep and you are missing 1 attack and 1 health.
b) Swashburglar (No discount) vs 1 cost less with Shadowstep
c) Jade Swarmer 1 cost less vs 0 (2 cost less) with Shadowstep
d) Vilespine Slayer 4 cost less vs 3 (2 cost less) with Shadowstep and you are missing the body.
e)Southsea Deckhand (No discount) vs 0 (1 cost less) with Shadowstep and you get +1 attack.
f)Bloodmage Thalnos 1 cost less vs 0 (2 cost less) with Shadowstep
g)Kobold Geomancer 1 cost less vs 0 (2 cost less) with Shadowstep and you are missing 1 attack and 1 health.
h)Jade Spirit 3 cost less vs 2 (2 cost less) with Shadowstep and you are missing 1 attack and 2 health.
i)Aya Blackpaw 5 cost less vs 4 (2 cost less) with Shadowstep and you are missing 4 attack(!) and 2 health. Also you can't do the combo in the same turn unless you are going 2nd and kept the coin until turn 10 so she has to actually survive until your next turn.
j)N'Zoth, the Corruptor 9 cost less vs 8 (2 cost less) with Shadowstep and you are missing 4 attack and 6 health. The only case where using Shadowcaster benefits you more over Shadowstep as you most likely are using N'Zoth's ability to regain board rather than using him for his body.
Also by using Shadowstep in your own turn you get to activate your combo cards much faster than Shadowcaster would allow you to do so.
Journey Below is clunky compared to Hallucination's versatility as the first just gives you a minion of your choice with the deathrattle effect but the latter has the chance of giving you answers to situations, besides minions not existing in your class, that could turn the tide of the match.
I hope I covered you ;)
a) Mistress of Mixtures (No discount) + another copy to heal you vs totally pointless to shadow step
c) Jade Swarmer 1 cost less + another jade via rattle + another copy for nzoth to resurrect vs 0 totally pointless to shadow step
f)Bloodmage Thalnos 1 cost less + opportunity to use it later while still drawing a card vs 0 totally pointless to shadow step
i)Aya Blackpaw 5 cost less vs 4 (2 cost less) with Shadowstep and you are missing 4 attack(!) and 2 health. But gaining another jade from rattle + another aya resurrected by nzoth
j)N'Zoth, the Corruptor the only card which favors the shadowstep here.
"Journey Below is clunky compared to Hallucination's versatility as the first just gives you a minion of your choice with the deathrattle effect but the latter has the chance of giving you answers to situations, besides minions not existing in your class, that could turn the tide of the match."
Whats the point of even taking the hallucination? What are you aiming to find with it? Journey below provides synergy with nzoth 100% of the time, while hallucination is just random stuff.
Let's compare it with an example.
I played Aya Blackpaw, then played Shadowstep and then played Aya Blackpaw = 3 Jades (2 battle cry 1 deathrattle) + 5-3 body. (6 + 0 + 4 = 10 mana)
I played Aya Blackpaw, then played Shadowcaster and then played Aya Blackpaw = 4 Jades (2 battle cry 2 deathrattle) + 5-3 body + 4-4 body + 1-1 body. (6 + 5 + 1 = 11 mana)
With Shadowcaster we get more by 1 jade and 5-5 for 1 mana.
or
Jade Swarmer + Shadowstep = Jade Swarmer without Shadowstep
Hallucination. Jade Rogue already includes many responses to enemy creatures. Jade druid and jade shaman have 3 class cards that create jades. Jade Rogue has only 2 class cards that create jades. Both Journey Below and Shadowcaster are needed to compensate for this difference. I always try to find Aya Blackpaw from Journey Below before the 6th turn.
first of all, comparing a zero cost card to a 5 cost card is pointless. second, if you really like shadowstep, i would replace it with something other than shadowcaster.
shadowstep is really only good with nzoth, in almost every other situation shadowcaster is better. you can also just run both. shadowstep also has negative synergy with deathrattles, which a jade rogue uses a lot of.
I get ya. After playing this for hours yesterday I think I want to at least try to replace one journey below with a hallucination. Reason is that this deck doesn't have taunt and deathrattle taunt is very limited. Playing against an aggro warrior, being able to play a taunt against him could save my life at some points.
if you're concerned about taunt, argus is a very good card. you can also shadowcaster it for great value. in regards to this list, drop the pirates, kobold, and one mimic pod and add 2x argus, 2x SI agents and 2x hucksters, that's what I run.
Dude this deck is sick!
Try to get legend this month with this , meta is evolving from month to month. The legend you got was pure luck.Gl this month with this deck ;)
legend is not your rank 15 which you get by lucky streak once in a few months. You don't hit legend by luck unless you do like straight win-streak 5-legend. Dude made 360 games with 55% WR.
Shit deck, the cards lack consistency.
