Hey Folks,
This is my current "tempo" miracle version.
I made this little more aggressive (Leeroy, shadowstep, deckhand) version with Thalnos as my tech choice for this meta (mainly against druid and shaman token decks, but also against Murlocs).
Btw: I call it "real miracle" as this version is built around the Questing Adventurers and the name Miracle came from Quirion Dryad in MtG (for those who didn't know)
As there was the question for replacements I decided to add it to the description:
Shaku is probably the easiest card to replace. I played without it for a while too and added t again, because it felt like it helped helped with getting enemy removal spells out to increase the chances of Adventurers, Edwyn, or even Auctioneers to survive.
But it is definitely also reasonable to play 2xSI, 2xVilespine, or teching in the Eater of Secrets as the Burn and Freeze Mages ( are, together with Quest Warrior, the most difficult matchups.
Update to Rank 10 to 2 now (I know it is not too spectacular but still pretty solid for an archetype that is considered Tier 3 in the current meta):
Matchups from easy to hard :
vs Paladin 26W 8L 76.5%
vs Priest 19W 6L 76.0%
vs Warlock 2W 1L 66.7%
vs Druid 20W 18L 52.6%
vs Rogue 10W 9L 52.6%
vs Shaman 21W 20L 51.2%
vs Mage 23W 22L 51.1%
vs Hunter 7W 7L 50.0%
vs Warrior 10W 12L 45.5%
I will correct it right now, the way I played it lately, but I really did not have a lot of time to play and now I will go on holidays, so I can't keep it updated.
I topped Rank 1 with it last month after 289 games (55.7%) including some stupid drunk session dropping down to 3 :D
edit:
As you can see I cut Southsea and Thalnos in my latest version, because I didn't face too many aggro druids anymore and the key to win against shaman was not really the board clear but with the lashers a more minion-based gaining control of the board.
Nice build.
After playing a few games, I agree with Baseiii about swapping out the coin and deckhand. Yeah, I know you want chargers in hand for that cold blood burst, but x2 Lashers gives you nice board presence early, and two more cards to revive corpse beef up questing, etc.
Regardless, thanks for posting this list and sharing your stats!
Thank you!
I thought about the lashers more. For the way this deck works it might be even better to swap Shaku and Mimic Pod or maybe even Thalnos for the lashers?! I agree that the weak turn two hurts quite a bit against quick decks, whilst turn 3 Shaku also feels too slow pretty often in this deck.
Removing two value cards shapes the game plan a bit more to all-in early then be kind of patient for full value auctioneer turn.
I can see your point. Frankly, I love shaku so much that my not considering removing this card may have been biased by greed. Will test your suggested swaps.
If anything, the lasher swap (however it's done) is most certainly a response to a aggressive meta. When it slows down, that's where I feel the present build shines.
Please let us know how you make out with any subs :)
Soo, for most games I replaced Mimic Pot and Shaku with double lashers. I topped at Rank 1 and even dropped again yesterday.
I summarised: I really love this deck and it was a lot of fun, but I will just play some Tier 1 now to get the legendary dust :-O
I am sure this can go legendary too, but it takes a lot of effort (~300+ games in a season).
Overall the lashers are a good idea for sure. I would cut Shaku before the deckhand tho. The deckhand is a shadowstep target, it pulls patches, it charges in cold bloods, it is a 1 mana card (as you can't play double coin here) - I really believe the deckhand is better than the lasher in this build - the Shaku is more argueable :)
Still I will test this idea too! :)
Might try a second deckhand. But the charge is essential in this build for many games to kill fast enough (e.g. Quest Rogue).
Any replacement for Shaku, the Collector?
Hey Sonic371,
actually I played it also without Shaku for quite a bit. You can play 2x SI7-Agent (better against aggro) or 2x Vilespine (better against control Warrior and Control/Midrage Paladin).
I would not recommend replacing it with Xaril, as it is too weak and does usually not require removal spells.
Another option would be the Eater of secrets when you are facing many Mages and Paladins.
Cheers,
HackFin
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try it.
Btw, comparing to any other miracle deck I found, this one make me comfortable when facing no matter aggro or control deck.
Great work,man.
Thank you! How did it work out for you so far?
