Hello everyone,
I am a greek hearthstone player with the online name Padelos and i'm getting good legend ranks nearly every season.
Bored of playing taunt warriors and pirates? Want something "new"?.This is the deck for you then! This month i experimented with this tempo warrior decklist and it seems to perform pretty solid vs most decks of the current meta.It is also extremely fun to play with. I reached rank 5 with it on the 4th day of this month and I am going to continue playing it to see how far i can get!
Update 9/6/2017: I made it to legend this month hitting top 300 with this deck and an aggro druid deck which i have uploaded aswell on druid section.

GUIDE
Shaman
90% of the shamans right now play that rush evolve deck. You need to try and take control of the board really fast and have a Whirlwind or Ravaging Ghoul in hand for clears.Basically your main goal is to have his side of the board always free of minions.Having a Bloodhoof Brave in hand isnt a bad choice as well. You can also go for comboing Frothing Berserker and Armosmith together with Whirlwind or Ravaging Ghoul. A weapon is ideal vs such games to clear his Primalfin Totemand Manatide Totem.Grimy Gadgeteer is also a good choice to buff your taunt minions. So to sum up never go face here, try to trade everything and you should win the match with your pressure from Frothings, Grommash Hellscreamand King Mosh combo together with your big taunts. It would be ideal to save your King Mosh together with one Whirlwind to use it after he evolves his Doppelgangster.
Druid
Versus aggro druid tactic is similar to evolve shaman, make sure you clear all his minions and keep taunts up and you should win the game. Versus Jade druid you should try and push him as fast as you can before he manages to cycle his jade idols. You should mulligan Frothing Berserker, Grimy Gadgeteer, Bloodhoof Brave, Ravaging Ghoul and Whirlwind or Blood To Ichor for the Brave so you can start pushing. If you dont manage to kill him before he brings out his big jades( 7/7 jades and so on) ALWAYS save one Whirlwind so you can clear his whole board together with King Mosh for a chance to win. You must always kill straight away Gadgetzan Auctioneer and Fandral Staghelm since they can cause much trouble to you.
Paladin
Versus aggro murloc paladin the tactic is same as the other aggro decks ( evolve shaman ,aggro druid ) There is a climb on control paladins nowdays and this is a hard matchup. They have so many ways to clear your minions.Only thing you can do is try and push him as fast as you can. DO NOT ignore his silver hand recruits or his small minions since he can buff them with Spikeridged Steed and its something you dont want to happen. Elise the Trailblazer is a good card for this match since the extra cards from the pack can help you out last longer if the game goes to fatigue and sometimes it provides extremely usefull cards to end your opponent.
Warrior
Versus pirate warrior the tactic is once again same as the previous aggro decks.Just clear everything up play your taunt minions fast and go for Armorsmith and Fiery War Axe, Ravaghing Ghoul, Bloodhoof Brave, Frothing Berserker , Blood To Ichor [/card] and [card]Whirlwind on mulligan. Versus control/quest warrior once again you need to push him as mush as you can and dont fill the board with minions before he uses at least one Brawl.Keep one Whirlwind or Blood To Ichor to kill one or more of his taunt minions with King Mosh when you go for a killing blow!
Mage
What if its a secret mage or a burn/discover mage the tactic is pretty same.Try to fill the board with minions to apply maximum pressure on him and the most important thing is to use your Armorsmith wisely since armor is a key factor to win this game especially vs burn mage with Alexstrasza. That means that you have to use him ONLY if you have at least 2 or 3 minions on the board and you keep one or more Whirlwind on hand. Always save one Execute for Alexstrasza and trade all the minions that the mage drops down.Versus secret mage keep in mind that they play Mirror Entity so dont be silly and drop down a big minion if they have a secret up.A really good mulligan is Fiery War Axe to kill their Mana Wyrm and Arcanologist cards.
Priest
Priests are an easy match up most of the times. If it is a silence priest ALWAYS kill their minions even if they are not silenced yet and its an easy win. Most silence priests dont run Shadow Word: Death so do not hesitate to buff your Frothing Berserker fast.Keep in mind that they can steal your Bloodhoof Brave to make a killing blow on you so it would be a wise move to enrage it straight ahead when you drop it down on later turns than turn 4-5. Versus Dragon Priests and Spell priests just keep clearing their minions and you should win the game.Keep in mind they run Dragonfire Potion and Holy Nova. Also make sure that the first time you drop your Frothing Berserker down it will remain with 4 attack until your next turn so in case the priest has a pain on his hand you can attack at least once with it and on your next turn if there are many minions on the board and you have either a Ravaging Ghoul or a Whirlwind in hand you can buff him easilly up to 8 or 10 attack.
Hunter
Hunters can be a problem if they draw really well but they are still manageable if you keep clearing ALL his minions and keep taunting and pressing the board.Whirlwind is mvp here on first turn if they make the Alleycat Jeweled Macaw combo.Keep in mind that they can use the Scavenging Hyena Unleash the Hounds combo so if you cant handle it or you dont have an Execute in hand, make sure you dont have many minions on board unless you have a lethal. Really good cards for a mullidan here are Armorsmith, Whirlwind, Fiery War Axe, Frothing Berserker , Ravaging Ghouland if you have coin Grimy Gadgeteer aswell.
Rogue
Most times Miracle rogues are manageable and can be killed pretty quick if they dont draw insanely good. The problem is quest rogues and thats a pretty hard matchup if they complete the quest fast. For this situation make sure you clear every single minion they drop down even if it is a 1/1.Just keep on clearing the whole board and get down Grimy Gadgeteer to buff your taunt minions you got in hand. Also save a Whirlwind to use it together with King Mosh since this can be a win condition for you later on.Nevertheless if you see the rogue is going slow on the quest or you can set up a lethal next turn make sure you push him hard with face damage before he completes the quest and its a win.
Warlock
WAIT WHAT?
P.S.1 Acolyte of Pain is always a good card to have in mulligan vs any deck
P.S.2 You can swap one or two Grimy Gadgeteer depending on your play style ( if you are a more control player or not ) and what you face each particular time.I will swap out one for a Kor'kron Elite to satisfy the more aggressive players! A good replacement could be Eater of Secrets if you face many mages.
Here is a video from Kiwiinbacon showcasing the deck:
GENERAL RULE: Do not play Grommash Hellscream unless you have LETHAL or you lose otherwise. You can play him to clear a very powerfull minion but there are other ways most times to kill it aswell, so i dont suggest it.
Enjoy !
Hey I liked your deck :)
What do you think about this update I made for the KFT expansion?
Hello !
Yea it is a very similar deck and it might do well. Well lets see what is going to happen with the expansion. Many things are going to change :P
what about stonehill?
Hey guys - two questions. First, is this deck really good? I'm looking through the comments section and people either praise it, or straight bash it to hell. It seems to me it plays like pre-Mammoth Dragon Warr, which is a midrange aggroish deck.
Second - good replacement for Malkorok? I can craft him, but I'm not sure if it's worth the dust. So - Harrison Jones, Baron Geddon, Gorehowl? Something else?
I'd go for Gorehowl instead of Reaper anytime tho
I went with Gorehowl and managed to go up 4 ranks, but since I've barely played anything last season, it was a move from rank 20 to 16, so dumpster ranks ftw. Given that, I did play vs some solid players.
I'm not sure what to think of this deck though. It's not really tempo warrior, but a clunky control warrior deck. It's too slow to be considered aggressive and doesn't have enough real value and removal to be cosidered good control. Lost 4 games (2x PW, 1x Aggro Token Druid, 1x Token Shaman), won 8 or 9 (didn't take notes), so it's not that bad, but the games felt tedious. Will grind it till rank 15 and I'll see what comes later. I'm thinking of cutting some stuff to go with Ysera and 2x Brawl. Maybe I'll cut Gorehowl for Baron Geddon as it seems a logical counter to Living Mana.
All in all, it kinda works atm, but I don't really like it.
Been using this deck for a week and for me is really solid and fun. You must play wisely both whirlwinds and ravaging ghouls , ALWAYS save one Whirlwind for King Mosh, it wins matches, specially against token shaman (I hate that deck) and druids.
The only deck I've had problems against is Miracle Rogue, but IDK why (probably just me)
I replaced Malkorok for Gorehowl and Gadgeteer for a second Elit
I've played mostly Miracle Rogue in the last two seasons and I must admit that I've never had realy problems vs this deck and that new Control Warrior. It's probably because of not that many taunts, not enough armor and huge bursts Rogue can dish out.
As for the deck, I'll probably skip that Grimy Gadgeteer for a second Kor'kron Elite. It's generally ok, but aggro decks are faster, and control decks outvalue it. I've switched to a nice Control Mage list and try my luck there ;)
There are so many trolled and useless weapons, so I think Malkorok can be replaced by other good cards. 7 mana can be used for lots of choices except using this useless card.
Hello,
Well, you get a free weapon (chances of this weapon to be really good aint so low) and you also get a 6/5 body with 7 mana. I still think that Malkorok is a pretty good card for this deck.He surely adds good tempo most times!
Got some deck's myself and I dislike replacement questions too, but...
What can Malkorok be subtituted for in your opinion? Arathi Weaponsmith?
Hello there,
Could be substituted be Gorehowl or even Baron Geddon
This is not a very good deck for the NA meta. It loses pretty damn consistently to aggro druid which in the 30 games played popped up 7 times. Shaman on the other hand was a bit more reasonable to deal with. Jade druid nuked it out right and mage was able to break even.
Biggest issue with the deck is the board clear is so late game trying to maintain any sort of board is impossible and your likely to be just our right nuked before turn 10.
To resolve this drop the malkorok and the grimmey gadgeteer. These are supper greedy cards that are not overly effective. Instead replace with brawl.
If you are on NA you would be better playing any other warrior then this. Specifically the N'zoth control warrior or the quest.
Replacements for Elise?
Hey,
Elise is pretty much irreplaceable but if you cant craft her,you can try out Harrison Jones,Prince Malchezaar orEater of Secrets if you face alot of mages
any replacements for curator i know its a huge value card but currently im using tar lord in its place
I think he is pretty much irreplaceable since you need to change the whole synergy of the deck without him
Played a few rounds with this deck in NA casual to do a 50 Warrior card quest today with a Gorhowl for Malkorock. It seems like a logical deck, it is really funny how salty people are in casual when they don't win. Not like I was playing Pirate Warrior, or Quest Rogue(my last win, heh greetings).
this deck is horrible. Not sure why you even posted this........ its so bad
