The goal of this deck is to gain early board presence with proactive plays such as Flame Imp and Haunted Creeper, and then have massive tempo swings with combos such as Nerubian Egg or Devilsaur Egg with Void Terror or Ravenous Pterrordax. Umbra is also included to combo with the low-mana, high-value deathrattles of Nerubian Egg and Devilsaur Egg.
This deck is still very much under construction! If you have any comments or suggestions, or would like a more detailed write up, feel free to comment.
Glad ya got a spot on Pwn's "Wacky, Wild" deck spotlight. This one is fun (and hard / sometimes lucky) to play!
Nice idea i'm going to test it, how well does it do on the ladder?
maybe an addition with sea giant?
Would you use Darkshire Councilman in this deck?
how important is leeroy? could i replace him?
Leeroy Jenkins easily replaceable with Doomguard if you don't have him. I do think Leeroy is better than Doomguard overall in this deck, though, as it is one extra damage for the same mana, plus you don't have to worry about discarding things like Power Overwhelming and Abusive Sergeant that could be used on it as additional burst.
Have you considered running the other eggs? Also, why Abyssal Enforcer?
Runic Egg was in the initial build of the deck, but it was cut in favor of Flame Imp for some desperately-needed early plays. Dragon Egg just seems like a bad card in this build, as its effect triggers on damage, not as a deathrattle, so it would be little more than a token for Ravenous Pterrordax. There is something to be said about combining it with Dire Wolf Alpha or Abusive Sergeant, but even then, the extra 2/1 doesn't provide enough presence to justify running a 0/2. I'd rather have the card draw from Runic Egg in most cases.
That said, there is not a single draw card in the whole deck. Wild is aggressive enough at the moment that Life Tap is often not ideal, so there is a possibility of Runic Egg or even Mortal Coil working its way into a future iteration of this deck.
As for Abyssal Enforcer, it is one of spots in the deck I am looking at revising. It was included for its flexibility, as it can function as a big minion for the late game, a way to pop eggs, a way to set up trades, OR as three burst damage, but oftentimes the effect is underwhelming. I may test out Dr. Boom or additional burst in the slot instead.
