Maloriak is easily one of the toughest heroic bosses out there. However, since the introduction of Devilsaur Egg, there are enough cards out there to semi-consistently beat Maloriak.

So, the most important thing to realize is that there is one situation in which you usually lose: the one where Unleash the Aberrations is played early. No matter what, you have an above-average chance to lose shortly after that card is played unless you had a pretty good hand. If he plays it later on you can sometimes recoup the damage that it deals, but early on it is quite powerful.

So, assuming there are no Aberration disasters are involved, you have a pretty good chance to win. You have lots of aggressively statted minions that he has no pings to help destroy. Corpsetaker can absolutely stonewall him, Deathspeaker can be huge for gaining and maintaining board control, and Felfire Potion as your emergency "I'm not dealing with your 4 damage Imp-losion" button.

Mulligan for 1 drops and Nerubian eggs, and if you have a nerubian egg already, devilsaur egg is pretty good too.

Also, random note about facing him - he's not particularly knowledgeable about hearthstone's mechanics and will cast Imp-losion on curve into your Corpsetaker, at which point you basically can't lose, which is really nice of him.

If you follow these instructions, you'll have a pretty good chance at beating Maloriak. May RNGesus be with you!
