I just updated accordingly to the changes made by Kolento on his stream here: http://www.twitch.tv/kolento
The latest changes are:
1x Elven Archer -> 1x Haunted Creeper
1x Azure Drake -> 1x Stampeding Kodo
My own sideboard:
-1x Ironbeak Owl for 1x Spellbreaker so you can stop those pesky Nerubian Eggs on turn 2
-I've recently cut 1x Senjin and 2 Harvest Golems for 1x Deathlord and 2x Unstable Ghoul, 3 more solid mana efficient taunts to stifle aggro and zoo.
Yeah she's fine.
I actually subbed it with cairne, since it's pretty sticky late game and screws with any expensive removal they want to use.
This is my favorite version of Kolento's "Tauntadin" decks. I follow 29/30 cards of it. My only change is I swapped the 2nd Kodo for Cairne, the value king.
This is a very solid deck. I have yet to find a bad matchup for it. That's not to say I haven't lost, just that I feel all games were within reach with a little better RNG or had I maybe not misplayed on a turn or something.
Dominating with this deck. Went 13-0 before my first loss which came down to luck. I have gone overall 25-4 with the deck. Having the most trouble with Warrior atm.
TBK is extremely good right now against control decks that run tough taunts, I honestly don't think there is a good replacement for him. I would recommend Rag or Ysera to fill in that empty slot as they are viable late game options. Alexstraza is too slow right now, Leeroy is not needed because this is not a burst deck. I haven't tried Sylvanas in this deck yet, but she could also do well.
Do you need tirion for this deck?
No Tirion, no party for Control Paladin. :) If you have a Rag, I guess he can be subbed in, but Tirion is a must in this deck.
