Hey S1xshots, i made some changes on your deck yesterday. http://i.imgur.com/TAba5vm.png i have scored 11-5 with this one, if you like try it.
What's the reasoning behind Infested Tauren other than the N'Zoth synergy. Doesn't seem worth it for 4 mana.
Besides the N'Zoth, the Corruptor summon, it's great to play against Aggro and on AOE turns. Ancestral Spirit can be used on it early to stifle Aggro Druid, and Flametongue Totem buffs it's attack to trade up with minimal loss to your own board. It performs much better than it looks.
But the Ancestral Spirit doesn't do anything for the card other than keeping it around for a good trade, since re-summoning it doesn't trigger its battlecry, with Flametongue Totem but that can be said about any 2 attack minion that doesn't cost 4.
Not sure what you mean. There is no Battlecry. It's never optimal to use Ancestral Spirit on Infested Tauren, but it's still 2, 2/3 Taunts, and 2, 2/2's to trade against Aggro which is brutal for them. If you have a Flametongue Totem next to Infested Tauren, both of the Taunts have 4 attack which clears most 4 drops and below.
OK so I don't own a Cairne -- now what? I assume the principle can be the same with endless White Eyes (plus it helps win in fatigue!), but I feel like I need more Deathrattles... maybe a Spirit Echo?
I found that I didn't need Spirit Echo to win but it may be a suitable card to substitute Cairne Bloodhoof for. Cairne is just so good in this meta right now, I would craft him if you have the dust. Crushes Taunt Warriors, Paladins, and Priests. He acts as great board control against Aggro since he continually trades turn after turn.
Watched him play this on stream. Crazy good win rate.
