Quest Rogue is a combo deck relying on completing the Rogue quest, The Caverns Below, upon which a 5-mana card Crystal Core is granted that allows all minions to be 5/5 for the rest of the game. After completing the quest, the game plan is to summon Patches, use Gang Up on him, and summon another pirate for 30+ damage.

Disguised Toast first showcased the Patches OTK combo in his video shown after Blizzard’s last card reveal stream. This deck reveals Blizzard’s Wild philosophy moving into the future - aggressive, non interactive, combo decks will have a home in wild.

The future possibilities that this deck represents are more exciting than the actual deck. It loses (miserably) to aggro, and it has winning matchups against everything else. Due to the popularity of aggressive decks, we have the deck listed near the bottom of Tier 2.

The deck can be tech'ed with Golakka Crawlers, Eater of Secrets, or Ship's Cannon to help against Pirates and Mage's Ice Block.
