Flood Paladin (sometimes called Recruits or Dude Paladin) is a midrange Paladin shell that aims to "flood" the board with cheap sticky minions and convert a horizontal board presence into a commanding vertical one. Having lurked at the edges of the meta for a while now, Flood received some very powerful new tools from Un'Goro. Flood is the best shell for Sunkeeper Tarim, a deliciously powerful new card, and Lost in the Jungle and Lightfused Stegadon add significant consistency to the deck's gameplan.

Unlike in Standard, where Midrange Paladin was missing significant tools, Wild gives Flood Paladin powerful midrange tools like Loatheb, Minibot, Muster, and the Shredder/Belcher/N'Zoth core. This list is capable of competing on a tempo or value axis, but is weakest to combo and fast aggro decks, and so is teched appropriately. Secret Paladin is still a very powerful build of a midrange Paladin shell, but Flood has picked up stronger pieces quicker, and sits at the top of Tier 2 in our meta report.
