The major finisher of this deck is hemet + c'thun + doomcaller synergy, other cards serve as getting the player to this point.

This deck is crafted similar to quest rogue, with glacial shard and shadowstep, because both decks suffer from "the survival issue" and this combo drawn in early game could slow down your opponents. Moreover, shadowstep is also nice to get your battlecry C'thun buffers back and play them again to make your c'thun bigger.

The major characteristic of this variant of Hemet C'thun deck is the two vanishes played. Vanish is considered to be great in this deck because again, "the survival issue", by clearing off the board before C'thun plays, your C'thun acts not only as the "board-clearer", but a real "finisher".
