Bit of fun using Hemet to thin your deck out into C'thun finisher. You can hold onto either mimic pods, doomcallers, shadowcasters, shadowsteps, etc. to pump out multiple end game c'thuns once you mill yourself with hemet. Either turn 6 him into heavy end game draws or save it for when you have a pumped up version of c'thun to drop. Will tweak as time goes on but right now this is a basic version of the archetype (first one so far?).
UPDATE 1: Added twin emperor, prep, thalnos. Twin works really well with the bounce and copy mechanics and curves on 7 after hemet nicely. Thalnos helps with draw and early board control cards. Prep lets you drop c'thun as well as play cards in the same turn or fan of knives/mimic pod into c'thun after hemet. Overall a really fun deck to play so far, I'm finding c'thun cards to have nice bodies on curve and can properly control the board into late game. It gets a lot of concedes too once people realize their quests/control decks don't stand a chance when they are at 15hp on turn 5 and a c'thun is still building. Post advice and comments here so I can update the list in the future!
I think vanish would be good in this deck. Although it's still here after hemet, getting a vanish topdeck isn't that bad, it can somehow get you back in the game until you can draw c'thun.
THIS shit right here is why I check Hearthpwn for decklists
I'm glad you like it! I'll be updating it soon again, a friend has an alternate version he's playing with that has slightly different cards, going to test which works best and what needs to drop.
my instinct in putting together a deck like this is to ONLY have Blade and C'thun itself, and to bounce/Shadowcast the Blades. It has the added bonus of surprise! maybe some Jade shenanigans to keep early tempo before dropping the H-bomb
EDIT: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/814830-shocking-hemet-worships-cthun ....eh?
I think thistle tea is too slow for what it provides, you end up wasting a whole turn after hemet or around hemet time to get extra value from your cards, but mimic pod can be prepped into for drawing a same turn c'thun and dropping one. Mimic pods are enough also letting you grab earlier game meat to throw down on the board when you have bad hands. Could you explain why like 2 jade cards? They seem to lack bodies for what you are playing mana-wise if they aren't mean to build up by late game...I like having a bigger c'thun for those slot drops instead of just stalling into a low c'thun. Just curious.
I'm testing and refining as we speak (yes the jade stuff was the first to go). I think I was too invested in the sheer hilarity of SUDDENLY C'THUN OUT OF NOWHERE BAM
As for Thistle Tea, I included it because it'd stick around in the deck after Hemet and could get me more of the big-hitters, guaranteed.
Update: I'm 0-15 with variants of this deck, with the primary issue being "staying alive". May have to resort to Wild for Antique Healbots, or maybe crank up the delay tactics with two Vanish/Sap, etc
