Mulligan against each class , strategy against each meta deck,
You could tech in a Black Knight instead of one Ivory Knight for that Quest warrior matchup or the mirror. Also just like mentioned from another poster, Curator is quite good right now and you can tech in some beast/dragon cards to help.
Yes. Just trying to find a hand-filling alternative. Have you tried Lay on Hands?
so, I tried it out a bit and started 6-5. Winrate would've been better, if I had held the Flame Elemental better to realiably trigger Elemental effects. Definitely a decent deck. I like the value Kalimos gives you, but still the balance between elementals that need an elemental last turn to generate value and elementals overall in the deck feels off. The Curator package felt more consistent and less chance to get in top-deck mode.
I combined the Curator package with your Kalimos idea and the first few games felt great. It's a real lategame control deck. (I had a 25 turn win against quest warri :))
I think 2 pyros are kind of overkill and switched one for Wickerflame Burnbristle, otherwise solid Elemental control palli :)
and I guess teching one Dirty Rat could be an option, but I don't know what for. A Blazecaller or Stoneshaper maybe?
btw: i just lost to another version of control pally, because my elemental focused cards gave such bad value due to bad draw (only 1 firefly 1 tar creeper, both consecrations in last 6 cards and so on) and he getting a double secret (revive + to hand) on tirion. didn't even know that was possible ôO
I'm thinking the same ... that this deck really only needs one pyro. Thinking of swapping it out for either another Hydrologist or an Igneous Elemental if I feel I need more elemental synergy.
This deck is absolutely insane vs this meta. I've been working on something like this as well, but this does indeed seem quite refined. Big thanks, and fuck them aggro morons.
