Estou jogando com esse deck mas nao consigo ter bons resultados , e nao encontro sua efetividade ... alguem para dar spec e me ajudar nas ladders ? Alekstroyer#1100
Its really hard to say now and depends purelly on the metagame in which you play. If you play mostly against Quest Rogues, its much better to play a classic Freeze Mage because of its consistenci.
I'm having trouble with two decks: Quest Warrior and Priest deck that utilize Priest of the Feast. The first build up armor a lot. The second wait until late game to cast and begin gain a lot of life.
I tried Malygos a week ago and so far, second Pyroblast is much better. Its a consistent burst and works really well against Priest and Paladin.
Hey I piloted this deck for a bit in a video, thought I'd post it here. This seems like a great deck! Took me from 9 to 6 and climbing. Does really well against Hunter, Pirate Warrior, Murlocks, and zoo! Thanks for sharing it.
Is Pyroblast important in this deck? Or you can easily replace it
Yes, i wouldnt recommend playing without one.
Taunt warrior is pretty problematic, he finished the quest and you done.. no minions so every turn 8 dmg..
Thats not true. If you play against Taunt Warrior which plays Sulfuras, you win easily, because they dont use they ability to gain life anymore.
Taunt Warrior is problematic because of Shield Blocks and Passive.
If they gain a lot of armor, it is problematic. But once they use Sulfuras, you can Alexstrasza them to 15 and Pyro/Fireball like anyone else since they can no longer gain armor.
when i come up vs freeze mage i don't use the sulfuras when i get it and win a very high%
I'm on rank 16 and just switched to this deck and I can't manage to understand how to win.. I keep on loosing with this deck. Any advice? (I've been playing hearthstone for a year almost but only with Tempo Mage)
Keep clearing the board and drawing cards. Get yourself set up for the alexstrasa/pyroblast/fireball combo
Thanks, I'll give it a try and see how it goes.
Hoping to climb from rank 16
There's two distinct stages to playing freeze mage:
1. survival/board control
2. damage/killing opponent
the hardest part is transitioning between the two, initially all you want to do is survive draw as much as you can whilst minimising the amount of damage sustained however there comes a tipping point where you just need to throw all of your spells into your opponents face. This requires understanding how many turns you can survive before you opponent can threaten lethal.
Otherwise the best way to learn would have to be watching others play the deck
When you say alex/pyro/fireball combo you mean alex to 15 and have pyro/fireball in my hand for lethal?
I Usually wait for that, but it depends on if they have a way to heal themselves. Hunter - you can go Alex if you haveat least one or the other and wait for the last piece as you go. Priest - Make sure you have them all
no freeze mage is nothing without two iceblocks. better save up 400 dust
Freeze mage is all about setting up one turn killsThat one extra turn is everything when it comes to freeze mage
