What a glorious day, you guys made me want to stream again. You can check me out right now, will work on a schedule. Love getting to know the HearthPwn family better.
Hi friends, I'm back with another deck! This season I wan't to reach legend with decks I created only, in the quickest or most fun way possible. My Face Hunter seemed to stagnate around rank 7 so I decided time to make another deck for those last ranks and it absolutely rocks! I took a look at paladin because it got some good new cards and this control style deck is what I came up with after 1 or 2 games. I fixed the absence of Azure Drake and good 4-drops with a nice The Curator package. it's absolutely insane so far, going 31-7 from rank 8 to 3!
Feel free to add me and spectate while I'currently playing this deck.
I'm a multiple times legend player and infinite arena player. I wil write detailed guide for mulligans an card choices once the deck gets some love.
SHORT GUIDE: This deck can out-last, out-value or fatigue almost every opponent. These are the win conditions. This deck is so good in what it does due to the absolute board clears, the immense value Stonehill Defender gives in paladin (class cards 60% so totally normal to get a second Tyrion Sunkeeper Tarim or Wickerflame), anti aggro cards like Fire Fly, Dirty Rat, Doomsayer and Spikeridged Steel, the general quality of minions and the card draw from The Curator etc.
Against aggro match ups: Mulligan for firefly, doomsayer and Stonehill defender and keep concecration most times. Then just play on curve and use the board clears wisely. Spikeridged steel is usually the nail in the coffin.
Against other: Mulligan for Twilight Drake and Stonehill Defender. play on curve and bait out his full board to use board clears well. Don't forget to make a dude when you play Sunkeeper. Use Stonehill to get another Tyrion or Tarim ;)
BTW SHOUTOUT TO Stonehill Defender ! What an absolute sick card in Paladin decks. Always a Tyrion, Wickerflame or Sunkeeper Tarim!
PROOF AND WINRATES: Winrates
Winrate is actually 31-7 due to two disconnects, one certain win became a loss and the other decktracker just didnt count the eventual win. New proof coming.
Is there any replacement for Wickerflame Burnbristle
Played a couple games. Nice deck Boom
cool deck :)
I played this deck for 62 games around rank 10 and it is definitely strong and fun, but lacked a bit of value against some matchups.
After a little tuning with the power of elementals I came up with my deck below and advanced to rank 5 :)
Thanks sir! To answer your question: you usually play one concecration + equality combo which leaves one equality for your pyromancer. While drawing pyromancer more consistently it severly lowers the deck quality when you just have to play a pyromancer on it's own. Also we usually don't want to clear our own board twice.
Are there replacements for Tirion Fordring,Sunkeeper Tarim or Ragnaros, Lightlord?
No, these cards are the most important in the whole deck.
I'm trying it without. Seems fine to me. I'm trying an Adaptation for synergy with Wild Pyromancer (poison).
Any idea why Hearthstone is telling me that this deck isn't Standard legal?
I must be extremely unlucky. 3 losses in a row, against 3 pirate warrior - im just stuck with this 6 mana Spikeridged Steed and no doomsayers, pyro equalitys or anything. And every dirty rat pulls out a frothing berserker for them to buff. *this is at rank 5-4 too*

THIS DECK IS INSAAAAAAAANEEEEEEE
Golden paladin here already 8-2 with this INSAAAAAAANE deck
from rank 14 to 11 in about 30 minutes all i'm missing is a bit of early game but i guess ive not drawn verry well.
I really like this deck, but I'm struggling vs rogues. Any suggested strategies?
Took a Rouge into turn 15 with this deck and it runs out of ways to effectively deal with the flood of 5/5's. Also has problems with very patient taunt warriors. This deck is fun, but it does struggle delivering the final blow.
as every Paladin since the beginning of time...I'll probably craft Tarim and try it out, haven't been playing my favourite class in a while, buffadin was underwhelming T_T
Awesome deck! I only have no chance against questrogue at rank 4, I am trying to maximize Tarim and clear value but they still overrun me, what am i doing wrong?
Clear all their minions early on, they tend to run out of cards fairly quickly i noticed. When they only have a few 5/5 minions it's usually managable. They also tend to overextend and get destroyed by equality + consec/pyro.
I also miss both. I Added the The Last Kaleidosaur and some Buffs. If you want to stick closer to the original, maybe just an Adaptation for synergy with a second Wild Pyromancer?
I swear, this deck turns the imo most non fun deck to play against into the most amusing deck to play against (pirate warrior). You're laughing your ass off at them trying to get through your spikeridge steed buffed minions. Best feeling ever to see all of them ragequit because of all the heals and taunts.
funny :)
