This deck is similar to my first thoughts of how to do quest rogue, with a small amount of refinement. Instead of going for a fast quest completion and then using chargers to quickly kill the enemy, it uses a slower but more consistent quest completion method, more draw, and taunt minions and summons to get board keep board and win the game. It is a lot more successful against pirate warrior and other quest rogues because of the bilefin tidehunter, the arcanosmith, and the dirty rat. those cards help to either keep aggro at bay, and the dirty rat in specific is very helpful against quest rogues to prevent them from actually finishing the quest by drawing out and killing their quest completer. The dirty rat is also capable of preventing a few pirate warrior cards from activating and buffing weapons, or just drawing out a minion so you can kill it with spells or your own minions without taking face damage. I think this deck is much more fun than the standard quest rogue people are playing right now, and potentially better, maybe it could use a few more tweaks but the fact it beats pirate warrior makes it very scary already, since it has the insane value/power of easy full boards of cheap five fives, that while slower, are more consistent and powerful.
Have you considered Sunfury Protector, Defender of Argus, or Stonehill Defender?
I wanted Thistle Tea to be good, but in my experience it felt a bit too expensive and Mimic Pod does it better for less mana. If you still need the draw, maybe Acolyte of Pain is a good card with Sunfury or Argus to force them to run into it?
I have been using Fire Fly and Igneous Elemental with Flame Elemental as the four-of target to save as much bounce as possible for other uses.
