Optimized quest pieces

  1. Babbling Book x2
  2. Primordial Glyph x2
  3. Shimmering Tempest x1
  4. Cabalist's Tome x1

That totals for 8 spells that are not in the deck. It might seem like not enough since the quest requires 6 pieces but after much testing I've found this to be just perfect. Anyway, it serves nothing to rush the quest since you have to wait and draw almost all your deck. Lets break this down...

- 50% chance of having coin.
- Primordial Glyph assures 2 playable spells out of 6 (also keep in mind it can provide another glyph or mana bind).
- Babbling books, Shimmering Tempest and the cabalist tome provide 6 more spells (again, keep in mind they can also give glyphs).

You'd need to be extremely unlucky and have 3 spells out of these 6 to be unplayable. By unplayable that mostly means Pyroblast since it's impossible to squeeze Ice Block or Frost Nova with it. It happened to me once in 30 games that one of my babbling books gave a pyroblast and my cabalist tome gave 2 more. It can happen, it's hearthstone, but it's pretty darn unlikely.

Optimized card draw

  1. Loot Hoarder x2
  2. Novice Engineer x2
  3. Arcanologist x2
  4. Arcane Intellect x2
  5. Acolyte of Pain x1

One game out of three you'll be drawing your whole deck, the two others it's pretty close to it. Draw is crucial in this deck, this is why I play the novice engineers aside the loot hoarders. Acolyte of Pain is a one of because the second one is usually dead or too risky to play because of overdraw potential. I don't run Coldlight Oracle because it's extremely bad against aggro, even sometimes unplayable. Also, other decks this expansion are also trying to combo off and feeding them cards is a risky deal Acolyte requires opponents to respect it and react to it which is way better.

The rest...

The other part of the deck does not really require thought. It's stall, and the combo.
