Thanks for the tips, I'll try them. With and without the changes I made below, Warrior and Druid are the easiest, Taunt Quest and Pirates.
I'm 5-1 against Druids, 8-2 against Warriors.
But I really have a hard time against Hunters (2-10), Mage (1-4) and Warlocks (0-4).
They are the reasons why I cannot go higher.
Also, when I don't get the coin, I'm 13-20. If I can find a way to fix those two issues, I could climb to Rank 10 I believe.
- 1 Backstab
-1 Fan of Knives
+2 Vanish, why? Cuz if the game goes over 7-8 turns, and the opponent can keep my minions at bay, I eventually run out of steam. With Vanish, it made me win a few games. Also it helps make a player lose cards.
I was 2-5 with the original deck at Rank 15 with 0 star.
Since these changes, I'm 6 and 2. Now 3 stars at Rank 14.
-1 Backstab and -1 Fan of knives again, cuz I keep losing with minions getting through.
+1 @Defender of Argus
+1 @Second-Rate Bruiser
I was 0-6 against Hunter, finally won one thanks to Argus.
I'm 18 win vs 22 losses so far... Rank 14 without a star...
mate, removes those taunts asap. they may help you sometimes vs hunter or pirate warrior, but they hurt your consistency. also they are too high mana cost.
to tech against aggro (hunter and pirate warrior mainly) try Bilefin Tidehunter or Glacial Shard (frst is better against hunter, you can bounce murloc to generate couple taunt tokens, the other is better vs pirate - you can freeze his face couple turns in a row, saving you 10 or more hp)
this deck is slow and old you get rushed down to quick their a better version being played with glacial shards and its got me to rank 4 with a fair winrate.
Is it worth to craft this deck or should wait? And dust I have little
If you don't have much dust and you're unsure about a deck then you should hold off on investing, unless you have the means, resources and/or incentive to replace the dust (i.e. buying packs). There are many other competitive decks out there if you're just looking to progress on ladder, plus crafting something which you then open is one of the worst feelings in HS.
im pretty sure you never keep backstab...
actually, im pretty sure you remove it from the deck
it does nothing, you only ever want to get the quest done as soon as possible, then it still does nothing because your cards are 1 mana 5/5
This is probably the best version of this deck so far! flame ele is bae :D
I made a video showcasing the deck which I hope you enjoy!
Really good deck. Let people bitch about the balance. In a few weeks things have settled and all this is forgotten =)
The whole point of the deck is the quest.....
You can't...this is the card that the deck is based around..
What do you guys do against pirate warrior? concede?
If you would make this deck at least a little bit efective it would be a total crap, y'know? :D
the deck needs glacial shard, you can kill tempo of aggro decks/or big early minions, once you combo there is no way aggro will get the better of you. only hunter atm is capable of beating you that way.
I took out evis for shiv as well, more draw, and one mimic pod for one Vanish
I would consider to take out Backstab, Prep or Squashburglar for the Glacial Shards, but so far the deck is working for me as it is.
Edit: So I tested this deck card replacements with Glacial Shards and best works for me to replace one Eviscerate and one Mimic Pod for 2 Glacial Shards. Today I've made progress after this adjustment from rank 12 to 8. It helped me to win some pirate warrior matches but still those ones have smallest win rate of all matchups.
prep is really good for the quest, backstab does almost nothing in most matchups in my opinion
I absolutely love this deck but I was wondering if theres a spot for Edwin Vancleef somewhere as well? I rly love Edwin as a card and would like to include him without completely ruining this deck, can anything be cut at all? any thoughts? :)
Thanks <3
