Okay so I was known for one of the builders of the original DiscoLock decks, and I figure with the new set Un'Goro and the addition of Lakkari Sacrifice and the rotation of standard, a new list had to be made.
Since all the aggro cards that made this deck possible have rotated and through a lot of play testing, the only way to get the long game value is to switch from an aggro deck into a control list. The midrange game is strong and has good early setup.
The most important additions is the removal and the Mistress of Mixtures because reaching the long game takes a few more turns to stall into than you would think.
Very complicated deck to get the right decisions, but once you get the hang of it, it has a good matchup overall. Feel free to tweak the removal package and give feedback. Enough likes I will add a guide.

Update- 4/7- Added Deathwing and replaced a Dinomancer. It completes quest and gives the field advantage. Hand isn't really needed with a 12/12 and two 3/2 imps on board.
Update- 4/15- Added Elise as a replacement to the other Dinomancer for longevity and the extra card in the deck (really matters lol)
Update- 11/3- Replaced Elise for the second Twisted Nether. Also strongly considering the addition of Bloodreaver Gul'Dan. Feedback welcome.
Perhaps 1 Defile for 1 Mortail Coil?
Defile seems too good a removal card not to include in any controlish or stalling style Warlock deck. (even without the dreaded Defile + Tainted Zealot combo)
Nice deck. I wanted to comment that you can also sub Prince Malchezaar for Elise if you don't happen to have her yet. ;) The extra cards are definitely needed.
How high in the ranks have you got with this deck? Ive been thinking of a control deck with the warlock quest but from all I've seen and heard it isn't worth the time. I haven't got the quest yet so I haven't been able to test this out myself
I honestly wouldnt recommend this for high level ranked play, when you get under rank 10 the prominent decks are hyper aggressive and this doesn't fair too well in that meta.
I thought I'd ask a question because you seem to be answering, why run Flame Imp? seems like with a deck like this your biggest weakness is death, I know its strong zoo but I would much rather run the Medivh/twisting nether meme combo then something that gets me killed even in control match ups. I just don't see how it helps your win condition (lasting until you complete quest/flood the board).
Considering you're already tapping this just feels like a bit too much.
The deck already stomps every control matchup, flame imps are more for the aggro matchups, but feel free to run medivh, all decks are dependent on your play style mate
Replacement for Deathwing and Elise Trail, I feel Elise is too inconsistent and I just don't have Deathwing.
Deathwing can be replaced by another nether, and elise its fine to discard but awesome when you cast lol
I went from rank 16 to rank 20 with this deck. 0 wins! Could somebody please explain what i might be doing wrong? I really want this to work. Every game i just get destroyed by perfect topdecks from enemy and draw two flame imps in a row when im low health toward the end of game. Been playing since beta so dont tell me i suck either.
I don't think you suck, but honestly idk how anyone can go from rank 16 to 20. Especially this deep into the month. I can't tell you what youre doing wrong unless i see what youre doing though.
I don't have Twisting Nether or Deathwing. Would it be all right to substitute them with another dinomancer and Leeroy?
They are sort of needed for the control list, i would highly recommend going for the aggro list if you want to run leeroy though.
can i replace clutchmother with frostwolf grunt?

The deck just gets chewed apart by aggro and even midrange.

Actually was thinking about replacing the Dinomancer with her. Shes worth the extra card in deck at the very least lol
