Hi there! I am slizzle466. I have been playing Hearthstone since Naxxramas and I have hit legend 6 times in Standard (highest rank #190) and 2 times in Wild (highest rank #28). In this guide I would like to share my Wild Dragon OTK Priest that took me from #180 (considered dumpster in Wild) to #29.
[EDIT] Front Page Hi Mum! Here's a link to a game in a tournament where i came 2nd place. Twitch VOD

I forgot to take a screenshot at #29 so this is after I lost one game and fell to #46 and some decay from not playing for a few days.
Introduction
This Priest deck plays very much like the standard Dragon Priest deck you would see on ladder; however, it only runs the early game cards from the list. The goal of this deck is to OTK your opponent with Divine Spirit and Inner Fire on minions such as Deathlord and Twilight Guardian.
Strengths
The OTK package is usually a big surprise for your opponent. Sometimes the Deathlords raise suspicions, however with so much Pirate Warrior on ladder, Deathlords are usually thought to be in the deck to counter them.
Good Matchups: Pirate Warrior, Reno Mage, Renolock, Aggro Shaman, Secret Paladin, Dragon Priest, Anyfin Paladin, Freeze Mage
Weaknesses
This deck struggles against decks that play a lot of taunts and that can gain armour.
The deck is tricky to play and one screw up can cost you the entire game.
Bad Matchups: Egg Druid, Midrange Shaman, Miracle Rogue, Malygos Shaman, Control Warrior, Jade Druid
General Advice
Play for board, not for OTK. Your best start to the game is to still play the Curvestone game: Turn 1 Twilight Whelp, Turn 2 Wyrmrest Agent, Turn 3 Kabal Talonpriest, Turn 4 Twilight Guardian.
However, keep in mind that on Turn 3 (or Turn 2 with coin) you might consider playing a Deathlord. If you know your opponent can’t remove it (for example, you’re against a Pirate Warrior) then it’s a good time to play it. The Curvestone playstyle stops on Turn 5 and you then need to start controlling the board and drawing into your Divine Spirits and Inner Fires.
Matchup Mulligans
Druid (assume Egg): Twilight Whelp, Wyrmrest Agent, Kabal Talonpriest, Twilight Guardian. With Coin: Shadow Word: Pain
Hunter (assume you won’t queue into one): Power Word: Shield, Twilight Whelp, Shadow Word: Pain, Wyrmrest Agent, and Kabal Talonpriest. With Coin: Northshire Cleric
Mage (assume Reno): Twilight Whelp, Wyrmrest Agent, Kabal Talonpriest, Twilight Guardian, and Power Word: Shield
Paladin (assume Murloc Secret): Twilight Whelp, Shadow Word: Pain, Wyrmrest Agent, and Kabal Talonpriest. With Coin: Twilight Guardian
Priest (assume Dragon): Northshire Cleric, Twilight Whelp, Shadow Word: Pain, Wyrmrest Agent, and Velen's Chosen. With Coin: Kabal Talonpriest
Rogue (assume Miracle): Twilight Whelp, Shadow Word: Pain, Wyrmrest Agent, Kabal Talonpriest, and Twilight Guardian
Shaman (assume Midrange): Northshire Cleric, Twilight Whelp, Shadow Word: Pain, and Wyrmrest Agent. With Coin: Kabal Talonpriest
Warlock (assume Reno): Twilight Whelp, Northshire Cleric, Power Word: Shield, Wyrmrest Agent, and Kabal Talonpriest. With Coin: Kabal Talonpriest
Warrior (assume Pirate): Northshire Cleric, Twilight Whelp, Shadow Word: Pain, Wyrmrest Agent, and Kabal Talonpriest. With Coin: Kabal Talonpriest
Statistics
I played around 50 games with this deck. I usually play on my tablet so my deck tracker only tracked 26 games with a 78% win rate. The sample size is not high enough to draw many conclusions. Next month I plan to ladder with this deck to legend so I will be able to collect more statistics.
Conclusion
The deck is super fun to play and I believe it to be pretty competitive. I took the deck in a lineup of mine to a wild tournament and placed 2nd. It is also really fun smashing your opponents in the face with a 32 attack Deathlord. Ask any questions you want below.
can Book wyrm be replaced?
It can but I'm not sure what with. It's a dragon, a 3rd shadow word: pain in a way, and a high health minion. I'd be careful about what you replaced it with.
Where is Drakonid Operative? Don't see any comments about lack of it..
It's too slow for the deck. I cut them and Netherspite Historian to make room for the OTK cards. The deck is quite aggro and aims to kill your opponent as soon as possible.
Definitely playing this...I love the addition of Inner Fire in Standard Dragon Priest (nobody expects it), and this looks hella fun.
It's super fun! And you get lethal before turn 7 a lot
Hi Slizzle. It's Reznor. You are in the top 5 of my favorite friends on Hearthstone. Grats on getting such high marks in Wild...one time I played blind folded for a month at hit legend in Wild. haha.
Thanks man! Blind folded? Were you playing pirate warrior?
3-6 pirat warrior beat me five times :)
Oh no! Coining out Deathlord on Turn 2 can sometimes help.
I couldn't get this to work for me. Could't get past all of the pallies down in rank 18
Sorry to hear that. Control Paladin can be an issue because of Equality. Some Secret Paladins run Keeper of Uldaman. So you just have to hope to pull the OTK off pretty early.
What's your opinion on Lightbomb? Why is it not included?
Lightbomb in Dragon Priest is typically a bad idea because you lose a lot of your own board. I was experimenting with Dragonfire Potion but since the deck doesn't have that many dragons again you lose a lot of your board when playing it. One good thing about having Holy Nova is that you can combo it with Northshire Cleric to draw a ton of cards.
nice deck !
also , you were my final boss last month !
Congrats on first time Legend! GG
The deck takes a bit of time to get used to. Also it's really easy to miss lethal so always check your hand! Good luck on Rank 5.
I'm a multiple times legend player in Wild and I gotta confirm this deck is very creative. Using it on my way to legend this month. Cheers!
Thanks for the kinds words. Good luck on legend!
Do you think that Divine Spirit / Inner Fire OTK could benefit from Shadow Visions for redundancy in setting up the combo, and do you think there could be a viable version in standard? Just curious, I was thinking about how this deck type could benefit from Shadow Visions a lot.
