Hello fellow wildlings!

As you might already know I'm a passionate Midrange-Hunter main, but ever since MSoG even I myself have not really been able to find a convincing, strong decklist for our good old Rexxar. But times have changed. I believe, and hope with whole my heart, that Journey to Un'Goro will save the beasties of classes, and resurrect it in all of its might and glory!

Today I will present to you my just-in-1-minute-created Royal Hunter, which I believe to be quite an okay representation of what Midrange Hunter will be looking like after the release of the new expansion. Wanna share some thought-processes behind it too:

-Of course the deck revolves around Beasts, as 27 of the 30 cards directly synergize with the tribe, and 2 out of the 3 remaining cards are there to enable the Quest, which itself is full of Beasts too!

-I'm still kinda hesitant about the viability of Swamp King Dred inside a deck like this, but I thought I'd just include the badboy for the completion of the Royal couple; alongside Marsh Queen Carnassa, of course.

-Some of the possibilities this deck will -hopefully- fulfill are quite a number of neat Combo's; mostly focussing around Tundra Rhino and Scavenging Hyena, which have seen some play in the past already, but I do believe they will really shine in the future, when more strong Beast-synergies will be released.

-I've also decided to put in two copies of Timber Wolf, because I do think it will be able to generate a lot more value than it could before JUG, with of course huge Rhino-Combo's, but also purely because of the fact that it is a 1-Cost Beast, and the newly revealed Crackling Razormaw could be a decent follow-up in the early game. I think I'd prefer it over Fire Fly in this Beast-heavy decklist, but my assumption is that Blizzard will reveal another Hunter 1-drop, which might push things over the top, or result in just a very strong and potent new deck.

1st Edit: Aaand as I called it, Blizzard revealed the new Small Raptor today, which coincidentally fits the deck extremely well, even leaving out some space for other additions! For now, I've decided to cut the weakest 1-drops and added 2 Rat Packs for some more Beast-synergies, bevause why not?! It also synergizes particularly well with the Razormaw, as it can possibly get 3 extra Attack for even more rats!

Anyway, thanks a lot for taking your time to view my takings on the newly revealed cards! I'd be very interested in your opinions about this particular list, and of course about the cards themselves, so any comments/questions are very welcome!

For now, happy hunting!
