UPDATE: 21-03-2018
So a lot of guys asked for an update. I didn't put a lot of effort into this, but this is probably the best list atm. This deck shines vs slow decks, but it has decent highroll chances vs fast decks because of Call to Arms. Have fun!
Below is the guide that is almost 1 year old
---------------------------------------------
Hey! I'm Sipiwi94.
I reached legend in wild as the first player this season. I have kept the #1 spot all season (except for 2 days, but I got it back pretty fast).
I used this deck to reach legend so I thought I would make a guide about it. Hijak is another legend player from EU, who gave me the idea of using Mysterious Challenger to thin your deck rather than having to use cycle cards to draw your murlocs.
How to play this deck
This deck is Secret Paladin 2.0. You pressure like a Secret Paladin and curve into an OTK if you the opponent manages to stabilize. The deck doesn't contain a lot of burst before turn 10, so board control is very important. Always make efficient trades to keep and snowball your board.
Matchups
Since there are a lot of wild decks I prefer to talk about archtype matchups.
Control
Against control decks (Reno, Jade Druid, Control Warrior etc.) the deck has two ways to win.
1) You pressure them early and win because they don't have a way to clear you board.
2) You manage to stall the game and win with Anyfin Can Happen before they kill you or get a huge taunt wall.
You lose if the control deck gets board control before Anyfin becomes relevant. Also sometimes this deck runs out of steam if you draw a lot of secrets.
Key cards: You always want to curve out strong in the first 3 turns, but Divine Favor Finja, the Flying Star and Mysterious Challenger are often good to keep against control.
Aggro
This is the weak link of this deck. It is not impossible to win, but you need to draw more early game than your opponent or get a lot of value out of Wickerflame Burnbristle (sometimes combined with Redemption.
If you are able to play Finja, the Flying Star or Mysterious Challenger without dying you are likely to win, but don't keep these cards in your starting hand against aggro.
Keycards: Nothing special here. Secretkeeper Haunted Creeper Shielded Minibot Muster for Battle Wickerflame Burnbristle and sometimes Avenge
Midrange and Combo decks
Against these decks the game is pretty straight forward. You mulligan for a good curve and try to pressure them hard enough to win. Against combo decks it's sometimes useful to force them to use combo pieces to survive.
Cards that didn't make it or that I tech in and out
Dr. Boom Obviously a very strong card that is good when you can afford to run more 7+ cards.
Sludge Belcher Lately, it seems good to cut 1 Divine Favor for this card to improve your matchup against aggro.
Loatheb Just like Dr. Boom this card is great in control matchups, but not against aggro.
2nd Haunted Creeper I have thought about this card a lot, but I simply don't know what to take out.
Final words
If you have any questions about the deck or wild in general I am happy to answer them.
I might start streaming soon at https://www.twitch.tv/sipiwi94 and my twitter is https://twitter.com/sipiwi94
good for thinning out but is it really worth 1 card slot?
10 wins in a row on rank 7, can't complain.

hey man could u gimme a version of this deck in standard mode?
It doesn't work in standard tbh. You don't have Avenge, Muster, Minibot, Creeper, Murkeye. And in 2 weeks even more stuff is removed.
Made a few changes for aggro matchup
+2 Annoy-O-Tron
-1 Spider -1 Competitive spirit
Works better for me
Great deck! I didn't have Finja, the Flying Star or Wickerflame Burnbristle so I replaced them with Dr. Boom and Sludge Belcher.
Pure cancer
29-9 from rank 14 to 5. New meta Dr. 5, into Dr. 6. Utterly rampaging. I don't have Wickerflame Burnbristle. +1 Aldor Peacekeeper is a good sub. Had to work my butt off to go 4-3 vs. pirate warrior though. Noble Sacrifice can be clutch late game!
Nah it's is the core of the deck, sry :(
Hey man, love this deck. I've been trying to figure out a way to efficiently combine Secret Paladin and Anyfin, and you really, REALLY nailed it on the head. Pretty much cruised to rank 5 with this deck as the pressure tempo offensive is just so great with it. Combined with the burstiness with Murlocs, it's just remarkable. Plus the OTK Potential with Anyfin seems so much more useful than N'Zoth Secretdin.
The only thing I swapped out was Barnes for Dr. Boom, as I never seem to get anything good from Barnes. Wickerflame's synergy with Redemption is also bloody fantastic, especially against Pirate Warrior.
Thanks again!
This deck is fun!
I also have 50% win rate against pirate warrior
hey, this look nice :) i'd like to try it but i miss wickerflame and finja,
I will replace wickerflame for a second rate bruiser, i think, but any idea for replace finja? maybe some draw?
i added 2 sludge betcher (yeah forgot this was wild :) ), someone already asked for finja replacement, didn't seen it
Got this deck from rank 18 to rank 5 in 5 hours.
Current win rate (78%):
I removed Haunted Creeper and added Dr. Boom
Very consistent, and competitive deck. Now that there are less aggro, this deck rules!
Sorry, I did not make myself clear. I meant now that aggro is less dominating the meta. Anyway, Pirate Warrior (for example) is not the easiest matchup, but still is a good matchup (10-2 against pirates between rank 12 and 4).
The contro/reno matchup is almost an auto win (if you draw finja, anyfin, or misterious it is finished).
Overall I am 42 9 with this deck(that is 82 % winrate), and lost at least twice because of misplays.
Deck statistics
this deck is absolutely disgusting. today i started at rank 25 in wild and am now currently sitting at rank 8 with five stars. currently at 32-2 with this deck, losing to a cthun rogue (didnt draw anything until it was too late) and a weird druid deck. anyways, thanks for the deck list. idk why people are saying it sucks against pirate warrior; i played about 5 games and won all of them with wickerflame. love the deck, made paladin great again in wild.
Deck is crap.. Draws are terrible always stuck with dead cards in hand and no board.. Love ppl who play a deck a handful of times and then say they get legend and ppl try it.. This is no Tier 1 deck.. It's just crap.. Thumbs down
xD FeelsBadMan :D I climbed from 16 to #1 legend with the deck :P
