Hello,
FIRST OF ALL, sorry for delayed guide, i havent noticed the upvotes. Here it is!
SECOND, I made this deck with my friend two (?) months ago, it's possible, that Kripparian uses the same deck, as someone had written in the comments. I'd be glad, if you link the video somewhere (eg text me), so I can embed it here, so everyone can more understand the deck.
SO. I'm no pro, I use no deck/game trackers, I just play HS for fun. I made rank 4 with this deck (now I'm back to 5), believe it or not. So, now the guide.
Point of this deck is to constantly destroy small aggro shitty swarm minions while creating your board with tempo cards as Jade Shuriken, Swarmer and Si7. Then, in slower matchups, Nzoth will bring back your mighty legion (shoutout to someone in comments for this poethic orgasm).
Pirate Warrior
Biggest pirate problem are weapons, cuz you have no way to deal with them. So, be aware of taking damage, but dagger hits in first three turns for tempo are very usefull. But don't hit for exapmle damaged 4/1, if you can use another way of dealing damage. Usually you are in a small lead thanks to incredible tempo cards such as Backstab, Eviscerate, SI7, but this can easily be turned by a weapon, so dump all the shit in your hand.
Mulligan: Backstab, Swashburglar, Jade Shuriken, Huckster. If second, also SI7 and Eviscerate. You can keep Si7 when going 1st if you have Backstab already.
Jade Shaman
Ok this is a bit tough and this is mostly because of Jade Lightning. You must be ahead with your Jades, or he is going to overwhelm you easily. Use Sap only if followed by a huge tempo pusher, not to avoid a few damage points. Use your dagger, keep tempo. You can play your deathrattles into Storm/Maelstrom/???, if your Jades are somewhat big (3/3, 4/4).
Mulligan: Jade Shuriken, Swarmer, SI7, Fan, Barnes, Aya, Thalnos. When going second, you can consider keeping Huckster and NZoth, but Jades can win here more often, then Nzoth.
Dragon Priest
You need really good hand to win against dragon priest, but also, Eviscerating a Wyrmrest Agent is not the best idea. Just try to keep up and Brann those Jades. They don't play Entomb anymore, Aya is np. Cleric is da real MVP for him.
Mulligan: Jade Shuriken, Swarmer Barnes, Backstab. If second, also SI7.
Jade Druid
This is easy. Druid is usually a low tempo unless he has godly draws, just push for tempo, play against Swipe with Swarmers, ignore Aya and go face. Turn 7-8 should be it.
Mulligan: All early game is good.
Renolock
This is a bit slower. Branning Jades is good. Keep Swarmers stealthed in later turns with bigger board so he can't trade or Coil and then Twisting Nether... You're probably going to run out of cards soon, so try to estabilish a board by valuable trades, but still play around Hellfire/Abyssal. Once you draw Nzoth, you are back in business.
Keep: Undercity, Barnes, Jade Swarmer, Shuriken, Spirit, Si7. Maybe consider Nzoth, if you have tempo hand.
Other Rogues
I don't know, i just lost everytime. Sap can help against VanCleef or Adventurers, but they come back, although smaller.
GENERAL SHIT:
- in slower matchups, if you have a lot deathrattles in your hand and also Nzoth, try to play DRs first, unless big tempo loss.
- NEVER no-combo Shuriken
- Brann Jades is good.
- Raptoring Swarmers and Aya is good, but against Druid, just play it fot tempo, even with no deathrattles.
SUBBERINOS:
- No, you can't replace Aya or Nzoth.
- Raptors are good against slower decks, but you cant put there Taunts or Heal. Consider Argus.
- Ragnaros can be replaced, but it's a nice followup in a few turns, after they Hex Aya. Replacable for maybe Shadow Strike? No idea what to use, Ragnaros is nice.
- Sylvanas can ALSO be replaced, but i don't recommend that. If you are facing slow decks, try that Wait, What?-Twilight-summon a 5/5 i-dont-know-his-name-purple-guy
- I don't think Brann is necessary, but it is preeety good.
Video: Some kiwiinbacon fella made a video, thanks! He swapped second Fan for Shaku. Shaku is a good idea, but personally, i would swap hip for second Raptor.
Thank you for all the upvotes and good luck to all of you. Once again, sorry for delayed guide. Will try to answer your questions. And sorry for my English, i know it's a disaster, but I'm fucking tired and I'm preeeeeety sure it's understandable. Thank you all! <3
this deck sucks sorry, but why play this deck if you can play far more superior jade shaman/druid in every aspect...
well its not rly fun lose already at turn 5-6 very second game, cause you have either taunts or heals to deal with pressure, but mostly you just get smashed in the face because of this deck weakness.
What does S36 stand for?
Nice deck! I've been running something similar, though I cut drakes for shadowcasters, cut the fans (they really don't do much) and eviscerate for tomb pillager, a sprint, and a couple arguses (shadowcaster + argus can save your life vs pirate warrior, as they usually concede after the third argus lands). It's great to hear other people are having success with jade rogue!
I wouldn't cut eviscerate. It's a must have card in any rogue deck. How are you going to deal with those boosted pirates on turn 2-3? Some kind of taunt is needed for a control deck with this meta though, so the arguses is a good idea. I removed 2 fans and Ragnaros, added 2 arguses and 1 shadowcaster. The drakes are good to have since sprint just costs a lot of tempo and gives you more cards than you need. They can also be combod with Brann.
Very good and funny deck.Thank you!But I think this deck needs more draw
Had some trouble yesterday, but from today Rank 10 to 8, which was maybe 6 straight games won. I'd like to clear up some things being said about losing to Jade Shaman and Pirate warrior. You could be unfavored, but I did win my games. So I'd say 6 games is a small pool for stats, but there are possibilities with good draws to take it away.
Also, remember what kind of removal the Pirate Warrior has compared to you. You're good to fill the board. Good luck, and thanks for the deck. Ah, I should mention I swapped Sylvanas out for Cairne Bloodhoof, for no reason but style. Sylvanas should be the better choice. I wouldn't recommend.
This deck is extremely favored against Shaman, Druid, and Warlock, but I have been facing a ton of Pirate Warriors and they are pretty much impossible to beat with this deck. No weapon removal, health gain, or taunts make it essentially an autoconcede against Pirate Warrior.
As these stats show, this deck after 25 games has a 56% winrate simply because of its horrible matchup against Pirate Warrior. Those two wins against Warrior were literally one Pirate Warrior who had Patches in his opening hand and a Taunt Control Warrior. I may test out Defender of Argus in this deck, but otherwise I'll need to switch to something more favored against Pirate Warrior if I'm facing as many as I have been.
Not just this deck unfortunately all Rogue decks I play, Malygos and Miracle suck agaisnt pirate warrior also it is quite unfortunate.
This deck really shows you how unbalanced the MSoG expansion has made this game and Rogue in particular to the other Jade Golem classes. This deck is a lot of fun but I have a lot of trouble trying to gain traction with it against Jade Druid/Shaman and Dragon Priest.
I just lost to the Shaman mirror of this deck because he had better Jade damage spells, he was able to heal for 14, was able to devolve my Bran/Aya combo and turn 5 minions into garbage and THEN add a 7/7 Jade with TAUNT!
Where are the HEAL optons? Where are the TAUNT options that other Jade decks were given?
Sorry for the rant, this deck is fun but I just find I get out-muscled at every turn.
I recommend subbing out Swashburglar for Journey Below. You have better chances of having a taunt which is actually how I won a game against a Pirate Warrior by getting Chillmaw. Journey below also makes Barnes a lot better as well.
Hey buddy, nice deck, had a lot of fun while testing the deck! :)
My best catch was probably the double Lord Jaraxxus that the friendly Warlock was providing: VOD Jade Rogue
Youtube-Player:
I like how there's so many 100% similarity decks, including Kripp's Jade Deathrattle rogue, except somehow this one made the most upvotes. Seems gud.
If you're unfamiliar with this deck, know that it's extremely unfavoured against Pirate Warriors and the recent Zoolock wave. I run a jade rogue deck as well and had long removed sylvanas and nzoth as they're way too slow for even midrange decks like Dragon priest. Highly recommended to add in Shadowstrike to replace these uber slow cards.
0-4 on 7 rank, i guess Is enough test this
First of all - great Deck, i love it!
Can someone explain me why you choose Swashburglar instead of Journey Below?
I've been having a lot of fun with a different type of Jade Rogue, but our deck list has 23 similar cards. Miracle rogue and pirate warrior are the two toughest match ups (as per last season). After the nerds, this deck is 11-2, presently @ rank 8.
I like this deck and I've tried it a lot (suggested by Kripp) but I don't think it works in the current meta. It's too slow and loses very consistently against aggro/miracle/freeze, and on the other side jade shaman also beats it with faster jade development.
"Luckily enough" and "easily" shouldn't be in the same sentence with this deck, don't kid yourselves with this deck guys, go to water Rogue otherwise you're going to lose ranks... imho bad idea to choose a tier 3 over 1 unless meta has shifted to control again
Some people play for fun and not for ranks only...
