It's post-nerf aggro pirate warrior cancer, but with an emphasis on more minion based weapon enhancement, to retain Upgrade!-like boosts but without sacrificing board presence the way Upgrade! does.

Because of the extra weapon buffing from cards like Grimestreet Pawnbroker and Hobart Grapplehammer, the deck is 'burstier' in the mid-game (which, as before, is often the end game).

Fool's Bane is Tech

The singleton Fool's Bane works as board clear for me better than Brawl did, due to the targeting ability, not risking loss of any of your own minions unless you choose to, and because you can equip it right after exhausting a face weapon to keep going.

Fool's Bane is also great for pounding through Taunts, and having one extra weapon helps keep all the weapon buffs more relevant.  It also pairs wonderfully with Frothing Berserkers ability, and improves the consistency of buffing Bloodsail Raiders.  It also synergizes well with Mortal Strike, helping you get it buffed to 6 points, even after facing with other weapons.  It is so good, its tempting to play 2, but really, not being able to face with it dictates playing just one.

The deck is not quite as consistently fast upfront, obviously, though it can still get 5-6 turn kills in.  But it is more resilient at killing in the 7+ turn range than the former builds, when it has to.

With sturdier mid-game, you can afford to sometimes sandbag a Southsea Deckhand (so he can help trigger a Bloodsail Cultist) or a Fiery War Axe (for it to get the Grimestreet Pawnbroker buff) if you have to, depending on the matchup and opponent's opening plays.

I got to Rank 5 last season with the first version of this, from 13, in just one night (the last night of the season) and got my golden Warrior with about a 56% win rate.  The new version has improved the win rate to 58% (cumulative, so its actually doing a little better than that).

The revision adds Hobart Grapplehammer, a Heroic Strike, and two Dread Corsairs.  You can see the trades in the revision history.

Though pirate warrior has a (reasonably well deserved) rep as brain dead to play, the way this list compensates for loss of STB requires a slight bit more thought to pilot.  Planning how to max damage over several turns with this means you can NOT always just drop everything on curve; building toward maxing burst while playing around AoE is a must when you have no draw to refill your hand and only one board clear option.

If you like playing cancer, or even if you hate it (the archetype is fairly boring after you have piloted it a lot) but prefer fast games for trying to max daily gold as you stockpile it for the new set, give it a shot.
