The aim of this deck is to play a lot of taunt minions and pretend this counts as not dying. It's a bit like a Bolster deck without bolster. Jades allow you to eventually play massive jade taunts with the help of Jade Chieftain, and deathrattle taunts like White Eyes, Sludge Belcher and Chillmaw allow you to have a final, last-ditch attempt at not dying thanks to N'Zoth, the Corruptor.
Versus an aggressive deck, you want to mulligan for Mistress of Mixtures, Totem Golem, Swamp Ooze and Lightning Storm. Against slower decks, Totem Golem and Jade Claws are good value. Mana Tide Totem is nice too, I guess.
The Rest of the Game
Get your taunts out sooner rather than later. Deathrattle taunts are better to kill earlier on because it adds to your N'Zoth pool. Save Brann Bronzebeard for Jade Chieftain rather than Jade Claws, if you think you are likely to survive that long.
Matchups and Summaries
This deck sucks against other control decks, as it isn't proactive enough. It also struggles against hyper-aggressive decks. It's ok against midrange, so it's a good thing there's a lot of those on the ladder.
It used to be a Standard deck but Sludge Belcher is too good to ignore and Infested Tauren is pretty awful.
